  1. And that's what I am leaving for your treat when you, GE, and notallthere come to my door at 3 am this Halloween too. GE gave me some of "ol Smokey and ol' Granddad when I was in NC last February. Finest kind!
  2. Agreed and their TV commercial hamsters will have to get real jobs. Let's face it, Alvin and the Chipmunks, they ain't.
  3. I like to use Percy's WheelRite measuring tool to be sure a certain tire or wheel will fit Lucy. It's less than $100 and it's easy to use on any vehicle. You can order it from SummitRacing.com and have it priority shipped if you need it in a hurry. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/php-01201
  4. Brodix heads huh? Something tells me that the truck's one wheel burn out is going to get a lot longer in the near future.
  5. True.....not to be confused with a regular moron. However, GE just happens to call one of his stumpwaters "Ol' Smokey" too.
  6. Might happen more often than you'd like - you never know !
  7. Thank you sir. Retirement is my fondest wish in next 4.5 years. While I like my current job and colleagues, working in the IT business the last 35 years is not something I would ever repeat. There has been such constant change and a lack of security and loyalty to IT workers that I would never recommend it to my kid. I switched companies 3 times in 27 years without ever leaving my desk. The people and camaraderie is what I miss about my GM days. I've been unemployed and under employed more in the last 8 years than one person should have to endure. So going back to work (in IT) is not something I would ever look forward to once I retire. So what do you fill all your time with?
  8. Good luck with that, let me know if it works. Yeah,, sure.... help give notallthere some ideas why don't ya'?!?! Frankly GE I didn't expect anything less...after all its got a Hemi too.
  9. That's the simple answer stratman.
  10. The mom and pop dealers could go under - eventually.
  11. Last Indian, every retiree I know tells me the same thing. They are busier now than when they were working. Okay I accept that for a moment. Does that mean any of them want to go back to their old job? The answer is a universal heck no. So that means they have filled their career/working time with hobbies, spending time with the grand kids/family, volunteer/community service work, honey do list, doctors appointments, or bucket list activities. Essentially things they enjoy doing (for the most part). Also, ever day for a retiree is essentially Saturday. So what am I missing? Besides the reduction in pay and benefits?
  12. Yeah but the thought of ripping a really good one in a brand new BMW or Mercedes leather seat is too good a thing for you to pass up.
  13. I am enjoying Last Indian''s fab work here too. I am impressed. I'd love to have that much spare time on my hands to begin with. I hope to get there some day.
  14. They are sneaky that way. They bite you constantly and then sneak into your heart.
  15. I thought we didn't believe in protectionism in these days of globalization and global markets? Of course, I did enough the fictional results of counter-protectionism in Tom Clancy's Debt of Honor.
  16. I think this is SPRINT6's area of expertise. How do you know you need a total rebuild or you just planning on a worse case scenario?
  17. Sweet low mileage 2+2. My question is how did someone manage to keep it so low mileage? Especially a 421 with a stick! Thanks for sharing the pictures 31pontiac!
  18. I guess some of us will have to go to the North American International Auto Show and find out.
