OK, so the 6 will probably be brought in soon to get something fixed. I don't know what is going on. So far these are the chain of events;

- Changed oil

- CEL came on then turned off after car running for a little bit

- Next day started idling VERY rough

- Checked CEL codes and came back P0102 and P0172 (both for the MAF)

- Started driving a little more (food, car wash, etc)

- Stopped in grocery store parking lot because I heard some clicking...

- Got out to check engine and smelled burning rubber but couldn't find source of clicking.

- Clicking still happening, it sounds like plastic on plastic clicking.

UGH! I'm so sick of spending money! lol

NOOOOOOOOO.... sounds like my girls Aerio... That SUCKS!!!! :lol2:

Yeah, the guys on g6p are thinking it's a Motor or tranny mount... I hope it's that easy. I already have the Street MMs lol Not put in yet though.

I would check your vacuum lines, and double check all of the sensor connections regarding the engine's AFR. (MAF, TPS, IAT, etc)

Tapping? Is this while the engine is running? Like a valve tap? Or is it making a noise when you shift into gear, or while at speed?

What weight oil did it get changed with?

AIT joe... :willy_nilly:

oops but that kit is starting to sound like its cursed. :bacon:

Checked them all and tightened what needed to be tightened.

More like slapping like plastic on plastic. Or aluminum...

5W30 Mobil 1, did the oil change myself like I always do.

Get a sound clip up of the noise. Sounds to me like a valve tap the way you're describing it.

I have the clip but for some reason I can't upload it in PB. It's an .m4a format.

The guys on G6P said it might be a broke Motor Mount. They showed a vid from YouTube and My engine is basically doing the same thing as the vid.

Go here to the Thread: Clicky

:bacon: no. it better be something simple.

Don't feel bad, I've been driving with my car with it running lean for over a year now due to the intake

Well, I should be picking it up tomorrow. They are running oil dye through the engine to see where the leak is coming from. I hop it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. :D

You could have gotten a die kit from an auto parts store
