Pffft. FORD that. My calipers red, and while in motion, it looks tight. Black and red go together perfect.

DOO EEET.

LOL ok... That'll probably happen next week.

Luckily its just the one rim. still though it'll be a little over $250 for a new rim and tire.

$250? That's not bad at all.

danm dude that sucks i like choasweavers idea id do that

I dident know brake fluid could do that to a rim. WOW

Brake fluid wreaks havoc on painted surfaces. Might as well spray brake cleaner on the paint. :D

  • Author

Yeah, I didn't know either... Apparently I learned that one! lol

damn that sucks. what did it actually do to the rim? is it only surface issues? $250 for a new rim and tire? not that bad, mine was $177 but with install to the rim.

  • Author

Yeah it's just the surface, but it bubbled up the paint... LAME!

Yeah, I'll have to do some digging to see if I can find a cheap rim of mine... Konig doesn't make them anymore I don't think.

Find a rim wholeselker, see if any places have them in stock.

no one sells it any more? i think i saw one yesterday. whats the rim size and tire brand and size?

No, Konig doesn't make them. They might still be sold though.

And the tires are Yokohama S.drive 215/55R-17 98W

  • Author

Yeah, Discount Tire Direct. They don't have them anymore.

I'd do a google search, "rim wholesellers" or something of the sort. Contact any big wheel retailer you come across.

that sux man. i might be able to see if my guy here in AZ has them if you want me to look for ya.

Dude you scared the shit out of me... I thought something else had happened... I don't wanna say it so I don't jinx ya... but you know what I thought... STILL sucks though and I agree, keep it as a spare that way it doesn't look redonkulous with a donut when you get a flat or something... :woot:

I think the car isent POTM worthy anymore and we should take it away from him. :woot:
