Thought I would throw a few pics from this show I attended last weekend.

First pic is a ‘69 Firebird 400 that lives 2 houses away from me.

Second is my brother’s ‘41 Willys pickup.

Thanks. That truck is what started my 1931 Pontiac build. We had bought the 31 Pontiac together in 1975. In 1977 I bought a 59 Bonneville, and sold my half of the 31 to him.

Fast-forward to 1998, he got a good deal on a 1941 Willys 4-door, found a cab, and converted it to a pick up. He also convinced me that I needed a project, so I bought my half of the 31 back and that’s where my build begins.

Nice rides. Two friends of mine owned a Willy’s. First a five window ‘32 Willy’s-Overland street rod In Calypso Green. One of only about 600 ever produced. It had been chopped. Chevy 350 crate motor and 350TH transmission. This was the last year for Willys-Overland. It was Boyd Wheels but Chip Foose remade the center caps and did away with the Boyd logo. Chip has those center caps in his office in California with a hole in each of them.

Notice the convertible next to it? This was taken on the levee in Charleston WV over 20 yers ago.

The other was a ‘54 Kaiser Willy’s Jeep pickup with a SBC Chevy and a retro fitted NAPCO 4WD system. Something like this. This is a ‘60. ‘54 was the final year for the Kaiser name.
