Just joined this site after stumbling upon a link on FB. I've owned a 79 10th Anniversary for almost 4 years now here in central Florida. Wanted a '79 since they were brand new. Very well documented car with 52k miles. All matching #'s. Still has the shag carpet and ETR 8 track. Everything works, even the clock. Looking forward to sharing photos and projects and helping others with their projects from what I've learned along the way. thumbnail_IMG_2134.jpg

New Smyrna Beach, Volusia County. Thank you its a fun car, especially cruising it around during the Nascar events at Daytona!

Welcome to FP. Nice ride!

Thank you sir. It was a pure stroke of luck to find it. It is likely older than the car and probably saw service with red and blue lenses, on top of a Palatka Fl. police car in the 70's sometime. It is the correct style lightbar used on the actual pace car(s) for the 79 500. I refurbed it, built a stand-alone harness with a portable power supply in the trunk. It is secured with vacuum powered suction cups. I went so far as to find an "ok" extra set of mirrored t tops so as not to potentially damage my originals. Been up to 50 mph so far with them up there. They're secure.

Thank you sir. I've been used to having a lightbar attached to patrol cruisers I've been assigned over the years, but none like this. It catches a ton of air, but definitely brings another element to a pace car.
