Indian front Bra

Currently trying to create a front bra for the Indian as there is possibly a road trip coming up. Typically the Indian only runs locally. Now it might not seem like much of an issue, but remember the whole front end of the Indian changed! It's wider! It's taller! It's flatter & it has a lower splitter is integrated into the front cover.

So I took one of my new front bra covers & put the Indian & the cover out in the sun for a while. Once it was really hot, could barely touch it with gloves on, I tugged & tugged & stretch the crap out of it & got it to fit! I will still have to do some mods to it & i need to figure out how to protect the lower spitter. The piece that's on the splitter in the picture is not what I'm going to use.

Your going to have to get the bosses sewing machine out last Indian !

One option is to buy a 4-way stretch vinyl, automotive or marine grade and sew a splitter cover. Shouldn't be that hard bro. I've made motorcycle seats that way, even made the Indian blanket seat covers in the Delta. Justa thought.

Actually I've done more sewing on her machine than she has! 3 car interiors! & that's a lot of sewing!

That is a possibility, but I'm trying to use the kiss principle as I don't expect to use this very often. So I've got a couple of other tricks to try first if I can find the time.

My kiss answer to your splitter last Indian

would be to grab some clear film chip guard type decal and protect it from stone chips for your trip then take it off after
