we headed to beach hop 2025 Wednesday 

We took orange girl and followed our mates in their 65 

We spent Thursday walking and enjoying all the cars 

aparently 2000 entrants 

but wayyyy more like us that are not entered and justA come along to enjoy …

We got to enjoy all the cars cruising port road 

And we did a little shopping …

And I couldn’t help myself …

Had major sticker shock and then did the NZD to USD conversion. Still too rich for my blood but about what I would expect a nicely restored car to be plus a little extra for being in NZ.

Awesome show N great weather.   Pontiac is well represented, thankz for sharing.  Like the way you follow your mate in the Mustang so he can clear the way.   Happy all were OK  N you can laugh about it now?

Haha ! Good point justA !!! It’s safer to follow a ford so it gets hit first !!!!! 
 

we are hopefully going to see the fully rebuilt 69 mustang this weekend , Lynsey the owner is up here at beach hop …. I wil get some pictures 👍

We were in the pub yesterday and 57 hardtop star chief in metallic grey went past !!!! I wasn’t quick enough to get a pic of it !!! And I have been looking all day here at onemana for it !!!

What's wrong with using a Ford as crash bait? Certainly we don't want our precious Pontiac's to get hit first!?!?!?! It may not be nice, but I will be able to sleep at night!

Onemana is a fantastic spot just 15 minutes north of Whangamata.. we got there early before the 2000 plus entrants did ,,, 

First car that caught my eye !! Right hand drive gto ! 

Last night we joined a group of our club members for a bbq and my mate Pete who is a total mopar guy turned up in a model A !!! No head lights working ! He was cruising port road giving members a great laugh !!! 

I love the right hand GTO, and the unique and very appropriate corresponding right hand hood tach! Very cool. Lots of great rides to be sure. Thanks for sharing mate!

The purple Buick Caballera wagon is sweet!  I think they are one of the prettiest wagons ever made.

Well Lindsey's Stang is beautiful,  not a Rustang and certainly not Discusstang, Justa Amaztang.

No sir Frosty one, we don't want our poncho's taking the hit. But as I mentioned yeeeeeeears ago, before I bought mine, I had restored a number of F100s and still drive an F150. I do love my FORD trucks. So, can't we justa stick to the Pruis's, Tesla's, Dodge's and Yugo's to use as crash pads?
