Here is today's entertainment for you all. It's been a busy weekend 👏 

A nice early run through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, up to the Show. A bit of ground mist around early on, but the sun soon burnt that away to settle into a perfect and sunny 27 º.

You'll notice there were a few Pontiacs too, which isn't that common on the Sunshine Coast. The GTO was really nice...

Friends cars are the New Yorker, the 2 Mopars (Police Edition 2 door Coupe, and the Convertible), the '64 Impala & the '59 Chevy Fleetside

 

Nothing fell off today, however my shitty temporary alternator bracket failed. Made it home on some trusty cable ties - no problem 🤙

Fantastic. You're certainly getting out and about. I've got to stop being such a social pariah and join a local club. My car deserves to be shown because it's such a rare thing in Oz, although the last time I took it to a show all the pretty young ladies ignored me and I was repeatedly pestered by crusty old men who wanted to tell me about the HR Holden they used to have. 186 bored to 192, Yella Terra head, 4 speed gearbox. 'Yawn.'

You're right - I'd stand there looking perplexed as Miss 20 Something was texting her friends but evil thoughts would eventually take over...and then I'd need a nap.

Her schooling...okay, I did initially say pretty young 'ladies,' meaning post teenage, just in case anyone was thinking of calling the Feds.

I'm talking about the Hinterland in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia.
