Justa wanted to put a THANK YOU out there for those who have served. Did ya know?

Veterans Day, an opportunity to honor those who have fought and sacrificed to protect our nation. On this Thankful Thursday, we encourage you to pause to reflect on the sacrifices our veterans have made and to be truly thankful for those who have served.

This Veterans Day will be the first since Congress passed legislation granting free lifetime park passes to eligible veterans and Gold Star families, which can be obtained here. There are meaningful experiences waiting for veterans and all Americans in our parks this month and beyond!

Many of our national parks commemorate our veterans with monuments to ensure that their brave actions live on in our memories—like the African American Civil War Memorial and the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial at the National Mall and Memorial Parks in Washington, DC.

Other parks preserve the hallowed grounds where veterans served and fought to preserve our country, on sites including the Antietam National Battlefield in Maryland and Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia.

On this day, we honor those who served our country and encourage you to visit a national park (in person or online) that honors our veterans.

The disgrace of those traitors who tore down statues, burned flags, defaced things that related to every war, conflict or action this country has gone through, to protect, defend & preserve our way of life & the Constitution! These are the worst of all humanity & respect no one, respect no structure or any law, let alone authority! I’m done as Levin says!

                                                The Kansas City Chiefs football team was playing the Las Vegas Raiders in Kansas City.  You may recall that when Obama was president he had eliminated patriotic military flyovers at large events.

So recently, a group of men in Kansas City who do some formation flying in their own planes, decided they'd volunteer to save this beautiful tradition and pick up the slack.

They invited a couple of other groups to join them and before they knew it, they had 48 men with their own airplanes signing up to join in.  If they had more time, they probably would have gotten an even larger group as people kept joining and a 49th was added near the kickoff.

Be sure your speakers are turned up.  Best if you watch at 'full screen'... pretty impressive and it makes you proud to be an American.

The TV networks did not show this because they are not allowed to show anything that reaffirms our national identity. The reaction from the people though, is a whole different story.

PS: The formation is fantastic, especially with SO many planes….all former Naval Aviators….!!!

That Steve, is so impressive ! 

The shame of it all is that we have to use social media to share a moment like this, or it goes unnoticed.  Socialism, cancel culture and we allow this to happen.

Being a University of Michigan football season ticket holder, I get to see my share of military flyovers every season. I have also been to many airshows. I have NEVER seen a flying formation of so many aircraft at one time before. That was impressive as HELL. Kudos to those flyers!

 

Want to once more take the chance on Memorial day to THANK those that are serving, have served, made it home or those that did not.  We thank you for your service.
