Its that time of year where we get lots of pine tree pollen.... springs on its way for us.

The cats been sitting out side while the 64 get attention, and its only got 3 tires, so it aint going nowhere !!! 

 you can see the dusting of yellow!!

....and why does it only have 3 tires, may I ask? Did we loose one to the Indyman Joe School of Proper Undercoating Application?

i went for a test drive on what can only be called a Fu-ked tire and it let go.... but some dumb arse didn't bother to stick a tire on the spare rim( guess who ) justA as a back up.... soooo i managed to get her into the shed on the hoist and thats where she has been for the last 2 weeks! while plumb crazy sits out side!!.... i even tried to bribe the tire shop guy to help me out but with covid lock down level 4 he would get in so much trouble it wasn't worth it !!!

that all changes tomorrow we go to level 3 which means i can get tires fixed !!! and go back to work!!....

for now i am getting some hold up tires... what my plan is long term, is to get a set of coker white walls 225 75 r14.... they are about $770 each here!!

Can't even imagine that much for tires....EVEN from Coker.  They are the only game and got us all by the gonads.

Hey Kiwi - I only paid $160 for my Maxxis MA 1 whitewalls. They're only 205/75R14s, but the mags plump them out AND when lowered and with your twin exhaust, nobody will notice you're missing 20mm of width.

For what it's worth - whitewall width (ie. the actual width of the white wall stripe) is commensurate with vintage. So, for mid 60s cars, about an inch is what you want to aim for if you want it to look period correct, as per the Maxxis tyre. Older 40s & 50s cars had a wider whitewall, and 70s ones had a narrower one.

Not only is it spring, but my number 3 grand baby arrived into this world yesterday !!!! a little girl

Congratulations!!!!!!!  How cool.   Get to meet my great grandaughter for the 1st time this weekend.  Covid be damned they are coming back to Mich for a friends wedding.

My daughter and her partner have named   Her violet ....👍

I am yet to come up with a nick name ...

I have a jamiesy  and a George . Both nick names I came up with for the other 2 .grandies ... still have to come up with one for little violet .... when we get to see her !!! They are in Auckland nz which is in full lock down ... not sure when we will get to see them !!! 

My jamezy has been out today (grandson)

as he wanted to see his pop ... it’s been two weeks of lock down .. so we did the boy thing...

 he helped me fit the new light bulbs in the 64  and he would run around the car and check that the lights worked !!

we then got his car out ... and up till today I use the remote and steer it and he justA sits in it and pretends to drive ... 

and it has a switch where you can flick it to driver mode.... well that grandy of mine took off and completely knew how to work that gas pedal and shifter !!

i was super impressed .... i think i will make him into a petrolhead !!!...

yeah i know its a ford ranger All Blacks edition ... but hay he is way to young to know.... and heck ! if some one builds a 68 dodge charger kids car i will be the first in line to buy one for the boy !!... ( its for me)

And whats wrong with a black Ranger??  V6, 5spd stick, 4X4.  One of my favorite trucks over the years. Flairside bed...couldn't haul anything.  Still drivin a Ranger. This one has a full size bed.    Ford truck has always sat next to my  GM cars in the driveway!
