Hey friends,

just grabbed a 52’ HT for my wife and I to start a build.  Ive never touched a flathead, but excited to see if we can make this gem into a cruiser.  Couple of things I need help finding.  Front grill, headlight bezel and tail light bezel and lens.  Think everything else is there.  Gunna start the tear down in a few weeks….. once I get my garage in order.  Also, electronic resource and engine resources would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance

Eventually restore her.  This car has every option offered by Pontiac.  But for now.  Ill try to get the engine to run, work on the brakes…… things like that.  Then tear down and rebuild.

Im trying to find out as much as I can as well.  I know it has the striaght 8, hydromatic, seat heater and tube radio.  All upgrades from Pontiac.  But how many did Pontiac make of the catalina with all these upgrades?

Awesome project find.  Keep us up on your build.  Will help anyway we can as there are a number of knowledgeable members.  Chat it up with us in the forum.

Plan on listening to anyone and everyone.  I feel it’s important to pass down knowledge and experience.

Try reaching out to Franks Pontiac Parts and Desert Valley Auto Parts (DVAP) - as a start on your search for parts. Also try downloading a copy of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International's Smoke Signal's magazine. Check out the want ads in the back for parts. Hemmings is also a good source to look for parts. Ebay of course.
