Ever heard of the Dymaxion? That creation looks like a tribute to it. I like it too.

Looks like a modern interpretation of the Stout Scarab.

These were built in Dearborn Michigan in the 1930s and 1940s. Five are still known to exist.

 

It would appear that the Scarab and the Dymaxion were both produced in the  early 1930s.

Only three Dymaxions were ever built. Only #2 survives today. #1 was destroyed by fire at a garage it was stored at. #3 has been lost, presumably scrapped in the 1950s.

And that black thing with 4 front wheels is a Panther, from the UK in the 70s. Powered by a 500 CID Caddy V8. A total pig to drive, apparently. Whatever they were putting up their noses back then, I want some.

Here's another Australian oddity: the Lightburn Zeta. It had no opening back hatch. You had to remove the seats in order to load it with stuff. It had a Villiers two stroke twin of about 300cc and, get this, in order to engage reverse you stopped the engine and then when you engaged reverse, you made the engine restart but spinning backwards. Attractive, sleek, practical, powerful - it was none of these things.

Another complete waste of time and money is what you are saying.

I think this one is here simply for the lack of style or taste.

Frosty, I think you win the 'Ugliest Cars Ever To Be Posted' prize. That green jacked up Eastern bloc looking thing is atrocious.

That bloody car looks like a deep sea bottom feeding monster from the Black Lagoon. Even if they had tried to make it uglier, I don't reckon it'd be possible.
