Yep... so anywho, back on topic, did you slide around any?

IIRC, he has studded snow tires, traction isn't an issue for him. :P

OP: I'd invest in some Rally Armour oversized mudflaps for that amount of snow. To boot, I'd spray the wheelwells with Pam, it keeps the snow from sticking like that in your fenderwells. :(

Pam huh?

Pam huh?

Yup. I can't cook for shit, but I know some good uses for Pam.

:pop_corn: Well thanks for the heads up

Dirty car. I don't like. :pop_corn:

Snowy roads with no traffic can be fun though, I find some entertainment and satisfaction in having to be fully alert to any changes in the car's traction.

for a second i forgot you were from BC and i was like why the hell does the vibe's speedo go to 200...then i was like 0o0o0o0o got it. cool pics! (literally)

Snow... snow.. snow... cannot compute! :D

I miss snow but then think of how it would ruin my car and how much more money I would have to spend on my car and I am very glad I live in Florida :pop_corn: Although I probably pay that much more in cost of living down here ;)

Yeah, high humidity, and then you go and take it into snow and get road salts, not very good combo for your chassis :(

AHH, the fear... must find winter car...

Yes... these tires claw through anything!!!

Actually, there was very little snow stuck up in there. Just that hanging bit where a mudflap would go. I gave it a light boot when I got home and it fell right off... even had the plastic dot pattern of the rocker panel!!!

Sliding? That's why I turn the traction and stability contol off!!! The systems in the Vibe get in the way and are too sensitive, unless of course, you have the intention of driving like an 85 year old woman. Sliding is very controllable, mind you this is the road to the ski hill (opening thursday) so I wasn't driving balls-to-the-wall (we have forestry service roads for that)!!!

Pam, eh.... If the wife ever buys any I'll have to try it!

Here's a whack of pics from last year: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=39772

And some frozen lake fun: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=39909

You Guys/Gals in Florida and Texas are missing out!!! BTW They don't use salt here, they use some liquid crap (that re-freezes when it get's too watered down with snow) along with sand and gravel..... lots of kidney bean sized gravel...

AHH, the fear... must find winter car...

And soon, time is running out :lol2:
