Golling show

Someone forgot to charge the camera battery, so only have a few shots, but maybe Frosty can help out with more.   Attendance was down this year, 250+ cars.  Justa, Frosty N M.Beer made a day of it.  The GM rolling car show was there and our own hometown legend of drag racing Della Woods was in attendance.  Of course the Widetrackers made sure Pontiac was well represented.  Can Am gang was there with 6 cars.

The Judge and the Jury! Lucy and a '69 Judge next to each other.

Detroit Lions mascot "Roary" and Detroit Tigers mascot "Paws" were both on hand at our charity event. In fact, Paws hung out with us Widetrackers as you will see.....

 

Now its time for another episode of "Street Outlaws - Septuagenarians"

It seems a pair of Widetrackers brought there "GoGo" electric scooters and they decided they wanted to drag race. Yours truly got called on to be the starter. It was tough duty since I was having a hard time breathing because I was laughing so far.

Race #1 featured Mike and Doug vs a woman on an electric scooter. The electric scooter won by a bus length.

Race #2 featured Mike and Doug and Paws on foot. Paws won on foot, looked back at both of them and pointed at his watchless wrist.

Race # 3 featured Paws on Mike's GoGo vs Doug vs the Lake Orion High School Robotics Team robot. The robot won, but not after Paws crashing into it.

Final Race - Paws vs Doug. Paws wins handedly. No rule about taunting in baseball apparently.
