  1. I just walk into dealerships and show interest in a model and ask for test drives.
  2. OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo... I so want to test drive one once they come over to us. I've had my paws on a normal Focus ST before, very curious to see how these drive.
  3. Now THAT is how you get a new model noticed and viral on the 'net.
  4. Cost, mainly. Plus I'm getting a lightly used set for half of what they cost new, so why not? I may or may not utilize my stocks for a retrofit down the road.
  5. It's nice actually having money that I can actually spend on things... I have a set of headlights, new fogs and a hood bra waiting to become mine within the course of July. I'll finally install my CAI when I do the headlights since I need the front bumper off to do that. I'm planning on next year's tax return to buy Eibach lowering springs and Tokico blue struts. That will probably be the last of the mods for the Accord...unless I can ever find a good deal on a genuine HFP front lip.
  6. Slick GTO. What wheels are those?
  7. So GM wants to fight Ford with a turbo 4 pony car of their own...
  8. Lets see if I can get a nomination/win streak going...
  9. Just needs some more wetsanding and clearcoat for it to look great, tbh.
  10. Sam's mullet-mobile. 1998 Trans Am. http://foreverpontiac.com/topic/4169-im-back-with-a-ws6/page-11
  11. Welcome to the forums. I'd advise editing your post, as you're new and there's a set of rules to follow when making a F/S thread on the site. Plus, this is the introduction forum anyway, not the area for that.
  12. If that's the case, I'd say a suspension drop and a nice aggressive wheel and tire setup should be good then.
  13. Other than engine mods, anything else in mind? Suspension, wheels/tires, brakes, transmission?
  14. He's active on a few forums, he pops into grandamgt.com once in awhile, I know he's still on fullthrottlev6.com as well. forced_firebird is his username...I honestly forget if he's on this site. Full Throttle V6 is a great forum for V6 F-bodies, and anything GM V6 powered really. I learned quite a bit about GM V6s in general from that forum. Haven't logged on there in a long time, though.
  15. For show, but it's stamped on actual European plate templates with the same font used. I picked a Portuguese one, since I'm mostly Portuguese.
  16. Best bang for your buck could be bolt ons and a top swap. WOT-Tech is a good source for 60*V6 parts, the owner is an awesome machinist and loves GM V6s and BMW engines. He's down in Flordia and is an amateur circuit racer.
  17. Turbo is possible, but I'm unsure of the tuning issues you'll face. One thing you have on your side, it's RWD. Also, newer 60*V6 top end parts do work with the existing L32 it has. OR, you could swap in an LX9 engine, have a newer motor, make better power stock for stock and better motor to modify in general.
  18. Any sort of plans for it? While limited, there's some things you can do to the 3.4L...you just have to think outside of the box.
  19. Bought this for the Accord. Should get it on either Friday or Saturday. :3
  20. Welcome to the forums! I've seen some interesting V6 builds with the early 90's J-bodies.
  21. Both utilize the 4T65 trans, some people will have no issues, others can't stand it. In stock form, you should be okay.
