I like Windows! I actually don't mind there new interface. Using the same GUI on mobile and desktop applications is genius.

Next week. I told them it wasn't priority. CNH Global takes forever to deliver parts, but at least there estimated delivery times aren't wrong.

Damn car sunk, I can't tell. The mufflers are touching the ground. I need to get the car moved, but I need to wait for a thaw. This really sucks. I could use the Super A to drag her out. Thoughts on that idea? I don't want to be damaging anything -

Battery was toast, got it load tested. Battery was 4 years old lol, I'm surprised it lasted this long. I got a new battery, tossed it in and after a few hesitant sputters she idled just like the day I put her away. My new problem: I seem to have no brake fluid. The "BRAKE" light was on and I though the sensor for the parking brake was just frozen or something because I've had problems in the past. Then I put my foot on the brake and it fell to the floor. I got new lines 2 years ago, I hope they didn't break..., I'll have to limp her over to the garage for further inspection. -
Ordered that new seal today. 17 bucks.

F-15C from 104th Fighter Wing of Mass ANG crashes in VA.

I can't find any definite information about it, but I know why: That investigation is on the backburner because the USAF won't admit that the F-15 fleet is aging. There have been 7 F-15 crashes since 2011. 23 crashes between 2000 and 2009. Most of them with experienced pilots. The F-15 is a Cold War era machine. -

Battery is toast. I took it inside, warmed it up, then put it on the charger. I left it on manual charge for 6 hours and it got to about 6-8amps on the meter, then I threw it on automatic and it dropped to 2. After that it was only registering 2 on the meter regardless of manual or auto. I know the charger isn't broke and giving me false readings because I tender the 6volt battery on my Farmall with it. (Charger has 12v/6v switch) I might as well go get it load tested, its most likely that I'm gonna have to grab a new one anyway -
Brady to Edelman to Amendola. I went insane on that. I'm still hyped from the win over the Ravens.

A little late on this, but if you didn't know the pilot didn't survive. Lt. Col. Morris "Moose" Fontenot Jr was unable to eject from his F-15 due to a failure of his ejection system. He was flying to New Orleans for a radar upgrade. Among the crew at Barnes ANG base that serviced his plane, including the ejection systems, prior to the flight was one of my friends. He beat himself up pretty badly over it. -
Did some work on the Super A the other day. Took the hydraulic pump off to replace seals and gaskets. I struggled for a bit trying to figure out where one of the o-rings goes, after doing further researched I found out I got the wrong part. I have the older style pump that used a pressed oil seal in the bore for the pump shaft and not an o-ring. I also figured out that flange on the pump shaft (last picture) is part of a Speedi-Sleeve. When I put the pump back together the gear was really difficult to turn by hand, after scratching my head for a while I finally realized that the speedi-sleeve flange was pressed against the seal and creating friction. It wasn't scored on the side to make ease of removing it. I had to bend it around until I managed to widen it enough where I was able to carefully slip it over and off the shaft. I put it back together and the gear turns with ease by hand. I have a feeling that speedi-sleeve is what caused the seal failure in the first place.
