  1. It's alot less heat and way faster. Yes it's slow RPM and the drum I was using in that video is their 40grit aggressive drum. But they offer drums in all grits and for everything. The company that sells it is Eastwood, here's a link www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-sct.html
  2. Me to bro, but I bought a new tool to help out and I love it! Its from Eastwood and its called a Contour SCT. Here's a short video my son shot for me to send to another friend. I did a time test and it took 10min with the SCT to do what I spent 1 hour doing with the air sander. It strips the paint, body filler, primer AND conditions the metal so its ready for your epoxy or self etching primer. Real time saver. Your welcome to come by and borrow it Kiwi IMG_2927.MOV
  3. Yeah I wish I could've justa resprayed her. But after seeing the rust in the quarter panel I had to see how bad it was.
  4. Well, my engine is a 68' guys so I'm not sure how much held I can actually be, But here's my set up. Its an old pic, before I rewired the car so excuse the wiring mess.
  5. Well both rear quarters got stripped today and the front fender's got it yesterday. I forgot to get pics of the front fender's but I will get them for you tomorrow. Going have to be some metal work done but damn she looks sexy!
  6. Looking really good Andy, and my PCV is set up exactly like you have yours on my 428.
  7. Welcome, you have a great piece of history there. Can't wait to see what you do with her. So are you going to try and get the flathead rebuild or run the 250?
  8. Damn Justa, I sincerely feel for ya bro.
  9. Welcome John. In case nobody mentioned it bro, we love Pontiac pics lol
  10. Welcome bro, that's a cool ride and very inspiring story.
  11. Well I was able to get most of the rest of the chrome off today. All that's left is the vent window frames which will be getting removed and replaced, the door handles and locks and that damn windshield side and top trim. We were talking about the current paint on the car Fitzy, look how bright the paint in the trunk is bro, and the trunk seal looks almost new.
  12. Sounds good. We'll be riding in from Ky sometime in May. I'll let you know what route as time gets closer bro.
  13. Here's mine and a few of the guy's that ride with me. A couple of us are actually planning a ride out to Gila Bend AZ around the end of May. Kind of a bucket list thing of mine. Thats not to far from you Michael.
  14. Nice bro, I'm on a 03 Heritage and 2 of my buddy's are on Vulcans
  15. Hey Michael, like Justa said bro if you can't get the switch working you can always run a toggle switch. If you're wanting to keep it looking factory, I would suggest an "angel eyes" toggle switch. I personally use these quite a bit. They are a push button switch that mounts flush and can be hidden anyplace. If you decide to go the toggle switch route I can send you pics of these to check out. I've got 2 on my Harley controlling LEDs and fog lights and justa installed 2 in my F150 to control the amp and fog lights. There almost invisible. We can even help with the wiring and routing to keep everything hidden and looking factory bud. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
  16. Hey bro, an 1 1/16" wrench fits the one I have here perfectly.
  17. Welcome bro great lookin ride. Might check Ames and OPGI, like Justa mentioned a picture would help.
  18. Welcome bro, great ride. Lookin forward to see where you go from here.
