Fuel gauge FReady wrong
G0VTCH33ZE replied to pontiacfriend's topic in Pontiac General Discussion/Questions
It's either your fuel pump assembly, or the connector to the gauge. I replaced the whole pump on my wife's car. Autozone sells them for around $300ish. Hope that helps! link Autozone -

G6 2.4L Intake Problem Rises Again!!!
G0VTCH33ZE replied to frtaylor9's topic in Pontiac Performance Discussion/Questions
From what I've gathered, the parameters on the 2.4's are set so tight for fuel economy, while running an a/f ratio that's pretty high to begin with. When you introduce more air, it takes it about as well as women do anal, then throws it in "limp mode". If that helps. -

No problem, also, if a k&n box filter is installed it won't work. -

No no problems whatsoever! All of these are Spectre brand part numbers spectreperformance.com 90* elbow - - 8791 Coupler - - 8771 black - - - - - - - - 8772 red - - - - - - - - 8776 blue 92-95 ebay civic intake - We also removed the bottom intake resonator in the bumper. Also we chose not to use the couplers supplied with the intake, because they're very weak and split easily. Spectre couplers are cheap, but good quality. -

G6 2.4L Intake Problem Rises Again!!!

The 2.4 doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator, it's a returnless fuel system. All we did with the 1/2ass intake was hack a little bit off the end of a civic short ram, after that it fits perfectly. All it does is help flow a little bit better, look pretty, and make a tad more noise. Let me know if you need a parts list. -
Had no idea, glad to see you got back into a Pontiac!

350 used, from what I've gathered 5Zigen has discontinued them though.

55hp Dry Nitrous Kit
G0VTCH33ZE replied to Mariachi's topic in Pontiac Performance Discussion/Questions
Dry nitrous is a bad idea, spend the extra $ for a fuel sol, line, & fogger nozle. You'll also need 1 step colder copper plugs. -

Hello all, I'm Barry. I drive a 2002 Grand Am GT and a 91 Accord dx, I was told about this forum through a fellow G6Perf member. Hopefully this forum has more useful info/advise, and less spam than G6P. I work full time as Tech support for O'Reilly's, and part time at Drury University. Here are some pics...
