  1. Glad it was something simple for ya. Enjoy that Pontiac!
  2. Jessica, The way it shut down and the steering went out, sounds like your serpentine belt broke. This would also kill your alternator and run your battery down. Dead battery would make the clicking noise when trying to start. Bet it was running hot too. Hope you have someone that can replace the belt for ya and jumpstart the car. Good Luck N welcome to the site.
  3. Nice lot of cars there. Welcome to FP. We will even let the Chevy guy check out the site!
  4. Amazing bird, welcome to the site.
  5. Nice job! Your additions blend right in.
  6. Just watched Freiberger rebuild one yesterday on Motortrend. He only used RTV and was not copper. BUT .... His engines usually last the duration of his 1 hr show.
  7. SOOO sweet it's makin my teeth hurt!!!!!
  8. Don't think he is smart enough to call him a MORON. Same guy that rolled his car on it's side when he saw the GTO coming.
  9. AC Delco runs best in my 421. Champion.....not so much. NKG???? Fine for my Jap dirt bikes, snowmobiles, never ran one in a car. Champion seems to run best in my small engines. Go figure. Very interested in E3 plugs. Believe they are made in FLA. Have heard great things about them but they are pricey.
  10. Welcome to the site. Nice lookin Bird!
  11. Fab'ed my shroud and painted black to make it a LIL less noticeable that it wasn't stock. Used the heavy roof flashing from a roofing/siding shop. Already black or any number of colors you could want for the project. Also bought enough to do the bottom of my hood, made my tunnel to drop over the carbs and used foam to channel the air to the carbs, cut out the fake blockers making the hood scoop functional and breathing cool air instead of the hot mess under hood before getting the heat problem solved. Your eye candy (motor) will command the attention under hood and most don't even look at the fan shroud.
  12. Thought it was JUSTA me N my Ol Skool ways. Thankz for the backup LastIndian. Obviously elect fans have come a long way, esp with FWD cars over the years and comes down to users choice for your pride N joy.
  13. Impressive.....Welcome to FP. Chat it up with us in the forum.
  14. Pretty much exactly what I did with the GTO. Water pump plate must be checked for cavitation as well.
  15. Might be the same side, but looks like you have Wrongways different tub. How did ya do that?
  16. In front of the fuse box, left side of steering column.
  17. E flashers? My 66 does not have em. Don't know a start year. Welcome to FP
