  1. I'm just a guy with a 1968 Firebird. I would appreciate everyone's experience and knowledge with suspension, pontiac engines such as 350, 400, 428, disc brake conversion, etc. Dads Camaro, my Firebird, brothers GTO
  2. Hello, new to the forum, I am a tried and true Ponitafile! I have an 80 TA, 81 TA, 85 Fiero GT, and a 2006 Grand Prix GT. I will share pictures soon!
  3. My Sunset Orange Metallic '02 Bird is finally undergoing it's much needed restoration. FIrst order of business: replacing the OEM Wheels which are corroding with some new rims. Kudos to "Mufflers Brakes & More" in West Palm Beach who discovered the corrosion on the inside of the old wheels - and refused to charge me for their fix!
  4. Greetings from FLA.. this is my 79 Firebird named "Flame Crazy" by my son. Bought it a yr ago and its been great to own.

  6. IT is a great pleasure to be a "newbie" on this site as I am a long-time Pontiac enthusiast! My first ownership began back in 1976 when as a High School Senior, I purchased a '64 LeMans from my neighbors. Not a GTO by any means (flat 6, standard brakes), it still started me on my Pontiac journey- which included: 1984 T-1000, 1986 Sunbird, 1988 Firebird (V6), 1996 Grand Prix GT, 2004 GTO (my buddy Mike and I were early adopters of the Monaro/GTO and Pontiac Performance Magazine actually did a photo story on us called "Blood Brothers" as we lived several houses apart), current ride: 2002 Firebird. Sunset Orange Metallic. Apparently, it was one of the last couple of hundred produced and I thoroughly enjoy it! Although I drive a german performance sedan during the work week, I intend to keep my 'Bird for a long long long time! I never had a car with T-tops before this one and I love opening it up and cruising alongside the beach on FL A-1-A, going to the local "Cars & Coffee" once a month.
  7. What's up everyone? New member here. Looking forward to meeting other Pontiac lovers and sharing pics of my build. Maybe join a car club? Anyone from Nor Cal out there?
  8. 1973 Pontiac Firebird 350 AT Non A/C Original 82784K Miles Completely Untouched View Advert "The ultimate survivor car" 1973 Pontiac Firebird 350 AT Non AC, verdant green, white interior, white vinyl top, all original. Currently registered. The build date is the second week in December in Norwood OH. We just got this car from a super nice elderly lady who sold it to us because she hasn't been able to get in and out of the car for a long time. She wanted us to find it a good home. She took excellent care of the car. She always had it covered with a blanket and a car cover over that when she wasn't driving it. She was the third owner. She got the car from her friends daughter (second owner). Her friend was the original owner. Her friend wanted her to have the car after she passed away so the daughter gave it to her in 1994. Besides one fender being repainted several years ago and the driver's seat being reupholstered and the front carpet replaced, (we replaced the front carpet, the original carpet was falling apart) the car is completely untouched. The dash is in mint original condition. The interior is really nice. Original paint and wheels. The Pontiac 350 runs and drives great (great healthy motor), fires right up and does not smoke at all. The engine compartment is completely untouched. The car drives nice and tight, no raddles. The only rust on the car is at the bottom of the right side of the vinyl top. You can't miss it in the photos. Other than that the car is rust free and very solid. We have two binders worth of service records starting 2-22-1994 with the miles listed at 79114K all the way to the last receipt dated 8-24-2016 82743K miles. The miles today are 82784K. She did not have the original owners service records just hers. We are open to offers. Call for more photos or details 209-462-4300. We also have a video of the car on our Facebook page which you can link through our website gmsports.com or search us on Facebook under GM Sports Salvage and we have a lot more photos on the website. 9. View Advert 2000 WS6 Firebird Formula She's a beauty! Only 233 were ever produced. It was the last year you could get the WS6 option on a Formula. Otherwise you had to buy the Trans Am or Firehawk. She still looks like brand new inside and out, and because it's a she - had to add the Bra. 16. Figured I spend a little bit of time this weekend trying to find things to fix on my Firebird. Firstly, how can I fix my driver seat so the backrest locks in a forward position? I can only recline the backrest and it will lock, but if I try to put the backrest in a more upright position it won't lock. The passenger seat works fine but the driver side one wont. The seat portion also feels a bit wobbly at times. Secondly, I have power mirrors with the little adjusting pad on the console between the two power window switches, both mirrors don't work electrically, how can I fix that? Lastly, the driver side rear speaker cover is kind of warped a bit, do I need to replace that? Thanks and I look forward to a little Saturday/Sunday work on my Firebird!
  17. Hello all! Glad to be here at the Pontiac forums! I have a question about my beautiful Pontiac. During the fall I picked up a mint condition Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 for 1200$ Unfortunately when my dad brought it home I didn't see any door handles on them. Which led to some other problems. Since the door opener on the keyring won't open either doors (You can hear the klink sound but nothing opens) leaving me to leave the driver side window rolled down slightly so I can even enter the car. The doors open and lock just fine from the inside but it leaves me quite irritated that I can't have door handles like the rest of the damn world. Any advice on that? My last resort is buying new doors which pains me the most to do, is there anyway I can re-install handles on the car at all without major difficulty? Secondly, I would like to know how to fix the driver seat, I can't adjust it, like it's jammed or something and won't go forward or backward. Lastly, I just need to buy the rear spoiler, a weathering strip and fix a crack in the dash and she'll be running in the spring. Anyone that can help me through this would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get cracking on this soon! Thank you, if anyone needs pictures for reference I'd be happy to supply them!
  18. I have a 1998 Trans Am with black and gray interior and black exterior. I'd like to add a Firebird decal to the hood. Can anyone recommend a company who makes/sales them?
