So today we added our first trophy to the case earned by the GTO. Wasn't expecting it as this car is much more docile than any of the cars I have had in shows in the past. We attended the Oldsmar Days car show in Oldsmar Florida, a very nice 40 minute drive in a cloudless, breezy, 66 degree day. Some of you may know that Oldsmar was developed as a retreat for the Olds mobile family and its a smaller community with tons of automotive history. On Friday they had an Oldsmobile exclusive car show that drew 80+ Oldsmobiles as far away as South America in attendance. The Oldsmobile only parade was cancelled on Saturday due to rain, but today was a beautiful car show day. Here's a pic of the GTO displayed and we took home a "Top 30" trophy. If you notice a playground in the background, thats my beautiful wife having a great time on the swing. lol. Really enjoyed the car and weather today.

So lets make it 2 weeks in a row. My wife makes a much better trophy model than I do.

 

Get out the feather duster, the trophy's will need it!! That is a sweet ride!!
