Welcome aboard. What all do you have to do it? Are you doing anything to resto-mod it a bit?

I was going to use my 468 c.I. Pontiac motor but I am leaning toward a LS motor and a 6 speed trans, so I can take down vettes lol... Have tubular suspension and front disc brakes. Doing some custom work to the interior.

Oh, do tell. My 455 is punched .030 over for a 462 in my '72 Lemans. I run a 400TH but I kind wish I put in a 200 4R instead for the overdrive.

The problem with the LS motor and 6 speed will mean you will probably have to do some floor board / trans tunnel surgery since the six speeds are a lot bigger than the Saginaw and Muncies ever thought of being. You will also have to the tranny cross member back further than stock and then comes the custom driveshaft. Its only money.

I do understand spanking Vettes though....I can respect that.

What suspension and disc brake package are you going with ? Are you going with rear discs too?

After the amount of money its costing to fix my damaged quarters floor pan is nothing. My front brakes are 70 big block chevelle. Just to see the look on a vette owners face when a big Pontiac spanks him lol. I have to see what disc will fit a W30 rear end.
