Look closer ...its the same set of wheels with the chrome inserts removed.

Ahhh. Nifty.

Keep 'em that way. x581na.gif

the car looks good without the chrome inserts

:welcomeFP: wheels look good.... keep the inserts off!!! :lol2:

Looks great!

Yep, no chrome.

car looks good but i have to agree with you that you and i have completely different taste in wheels :welcomeFP:

I love the look of your car, espically the black rims.

what if the inserts were color matched?

what if the inserts were color matched?

I was thinking the same thing... I also think that what turns them off the most is the fact that they go from the rim to the lip, if you could color match them, and trim them so they were just on the face of the rim only and off the lip, they would be sex :welcomeFP:

Thanks for the comments , good and bad. When i bought the wheels there wasnt alot of options besides the motegi Dv5's and and casinos that everybody was buying. I was going for something original. I have a bit of curb rash on the one rim and the guy i called about repairing the wheel does coloured chrome. I am toying with having them refinished them in "black chrome" , like the GXP wheels...wondering what that would look like with the granite..... as far as the chrome inserts go, they're plastic (i didnt realise they were so cheaply made when i paid lots of money for them) and ive replaced them twice now. Without the inserts the 6 spoke design is original and they are a good looking wheel , but the black is a little too understated for me. I dont really want to go for bling chrome....maybe gunmetal? im pretty much sold on a black chrome finish. Any input?

Why did you put "Some pics of the shitbox" in your title? lol

Why did you put "Some pics of the shitbox" in your title? lol

Every guy i know drives a truck , so i get alot of flack for driving a little car. My buddies all call it the"shitbox" or the "sunfire' , or the "cavalier" . I guess i call it that now too.

Tell your friends:

A. it isent a shit box

B. its bigger than a Cav or Sunfire.

C. they need glasses.

  • 1 month later...
:lol2: someone needs a knee to the nutz cause the 6 is no shitbox!!! :lol2:
