With a very interesting winter past us now and show season underway.

The local shows have started popping up on the events calenders so it's that time again.

Hey Gang, it’s been awhile.

Hope all is well. Thought I would bring over some eye candy from this past Shake Rattle & Roll show.

This is an annual show that I have attended before so I got and my daughter and I said what the heck, besides I just wanted to get the old Pontiac out on the Highway.

This is sort of a tribute to the old Suffolk Drag-way.

Nothing like the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame & Reunion and Show in Henderson NC but a nice local show held on Main Street Suffolk Virginia which has a quaint Mayberryesque charm.

There was really only one true old time drag car on site which you will see highlighted in my slideshow,

so Enjoy and remember PONTIAC, BUILT TO BE DRIVEN!

Do my eyes deceive me? Does that '55 Chevy shoebox gasser run an actual Delco 6V battery in the trunk? That has to be a reproduction 6V or 12V made to look like the old 6V, right? But damn it has enough "patina" on it to look original. If that gasser is a tribute or made to look original, somebody did their homework. Something tells me this car is the real deal and it has been around for quite awhile.

I also loved the old DeSoto 392 Hemi.

The '55 was the well used real deal.

I just wish there were more cars of that nature on hand.
