Yet another uber-classic sci-fi movie they couldn't leave well enough alone ... have to remake it with today's computer effects and 'a modern moral twist' ... usually transforming a macho tough guy into a whining pussy. no thanks. I can't wait for their touchy-feely remake of Rambo.

I am looking forward to this actually.

The story seems strangely paralleled tho.

Detroit in ruins, files for bankruptcy now all we need is a huge corporation to take over the police force.

Never actually have had the chance to sit through all of the original RoboCop. Might have found a flick for my flight on Thursday.

Closer to reality than you think!!!

They did a new Rambo movie, Stallone certainly wasn't turned into a beta faggot, in fact he was one cold sum bitch.

Considering the craphole Detroit has become, I find it interesting to have a new Robocop movie with quite the believable backdrop.

I don't mean next in the old series .. I mean start over. Clash of the Titans, Conan, Battlestar Galactica .... Star Trek ...I'm sure there are others I've missed.

In this one his family isn't even dead. In the original he was "killed" along with his family and they made a machine out of him, but he saw a pic of his wife and started re-humanization. This one he thinks hes still in control of his body and his family is still alive. Its not as dark as the original and it kinda bums me out about it.
