For hand built, i would have to say the comb lights look very sexy. I don't think anyone will notice the bubble unless you point it out.

to bad about the less, wish they would have worked, would've loved to see them installed. I don't believe you need a resistor for them, but not knowing the voltage not sure.

Some people are running them just fine, other are needing resistence for using a bulb that requires less power, which makes perfect sense. But I figured there would be some sort of heads up posted some where on line, but no matter.

I've set the lenses outside and let the heat get to them. The bubbling has gotten worse. On further investigation, there is adhesive and scratches on the outside of the lenses that I can't get off. I am the only one having issues with the condition of the lenses. If i had to guess, these lenses were the first ones that the did so their technique hadn't been perfected yet. I contacted Mark and I just want them swapped out for a better set. With these being so unique, I would like them to be at their very best.

  • Oh you have no idea how badly I want to just tear down the street, but I'll rip the guts off of my diff lol. Once they are cycled for a while, I'll be able to spin the tires quite easily!

  • I tried clicking on it and it didn't start the video of the heaters. Could you try reuploading it?

Don't blame you one bit Sam. Especially one-offs. If you don't mind my asking about how much did you pry your wallet open for the comb lights?

I bought them when they were a pre order. So it was $300 for the lenses. But then they ran into massive trouble with the honeycomb and they had to get a specialist to do the vinyl, and that cost an extra 100. So I'm in them $400. If you want to buy them now, They are $550 with the honeycomb installed by them. Or $450 and you put the vinyl on, and I heard it's worth the extra to have the expert do it.

They are just placed over stock, so they don't look right. But just a preview.

Ready for the street. Lets hope all the repairs are done correctly and she holds up.

4.10 Gears are installed and backlashed well. Can't wait to try them out.

Replacement clear tails will be delivered tuesday. Having a buddy send a set of crappy tail lights so I can take those apart and not my current tails.

Finally, going to try and start the paint correction soon. Might take a day or two of vacation so I can knock it out.

Gorgeous ride. I am happy it is coming together.

Appreciate it man. I'll try to get her out of the garage and get some pictures taken this week. Have to go easy on her for about 500 miles and cycle the new gears and bearings before I can have fun.

Yeah just give her hell man! Jk.

Please excuse how dirty the car is. It's covered in dust and hand prints from the gear swap. But it's a nice day out and wanted to drive her after I got off of location for the day. Even made a new list of things to do in the coming weeks. Sorry for the crappy pics.

No unicorn? :(

Hey since its not really "street racing" that is banned on this site for good reasons, you should take some vids of locking her up and spinning them.

It'll happen. I need a camera person, or just a gopro to record it. But it'll happen after the break in process for the gears is complete. Don't want to destroy the 10 bolt already lol.
