Okay guys, it's 2013 officially. This year the Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI) will be joining forces with the GTO Association of America to host a joint national convention, called a Co-Vention, in Dayton Ohio this year. The dates are July 9-13, 2013. You can find out more and register at the following links:

Definitely, and it is only a 4 hour drive from my house. The Air Force Air and Space Museum is a must see if you go. Kings Island amusement park and the Beach water park are only an hour away from Dayton.

Of course the Trans Am Nationals is held every year in Dayton near the end of August as well. So Dayton will be "THE" place for large scale Pontiac partying in 2013 for sure !!!!

Great Place for an event. Have been there many times in the past.

POCI has already had a convention there and it was a good site.

Also been out to the Pontiac Nationals- AKA; AMES TRI-Power Nationals.

Another great event.

Agree with the Air & Space Museum being a must see while there.

If you have the time you may also go and check out the Packard Museum, it too is a great place ti vistit...

I have heard about the Packard Museum but when I was young and a buddy of mine was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB, I never knew about the Packard museum so I never went.

Now, I seldom have a chance to go back to Dayton and if I do go, my dad is usually with me. He and I are big military aviation buffs too, so we never miss the A&S Museum when we are in town. We run out of time to see the Packard Museum. I also recommend checking out the re-created Wright Flyer while you are there.

Tthe Shelby Township MI Lions Club holds their annual car show on the grounds of the old Packard Proving Grounds every year. That is an interesting place to see as well if you enjoy Packards and automotive history in general.

Another great place to check out Packards, Pierce Arrows, and a whole lot of great cars is the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan - outside of Kalamazoo.
