NOPE. I don't need a sports car, I want another sedan.

Not shown on the site now, but Ford is going to offer the manual trans with the Titanium package I want. :)

what about a cruze diesel?

Looking as I post this.

I'm very nit picky, I don't like base models. I want an RS package, but with either the 1.4L turbo or diesel with the six speed manual.

what if you put a diesel in a rs with a 6 speed man? or maybe a new malibu?

Yeah, the Cruze is out of the question...I can't have an LTZ with a manual (lame) and it's way too pricey...even just an LT2 is more expensive than a Focus Titanium! WTF?

Sorry, but the Cruze is out.

they have door handles as a options?

Chrome trim for the door handles.

Mind you, I had nothing but the RS package added to the LT2. The Focus had numerous add ons...

Yesh.

Or alternatively, the ST is coming...with a 6 speed.

Honestly, I say do it. However, I personally wouldn't get a Titanium since I'm not a fan of MyFordTouch (I like actual buttons and dials). Overall though, excellent cars. Everyone is always asking me about mine.

I could wait, but if I pounce on this,,,I want this to happen before May.

Gah...I want to test drive one.

Do it, you'll like. The manual in these is probably the nicest I've ever driven.

Well...because we finally got the European spec models. ;)

Ding ding ding.

Seriously now, if you ever want to know more about them, feel free to get me in chat or something. I've seen all models up close with various options, and know which to be wary of. Happy to share some tips and info.

To me that's a lot of money for a Focus... Yes they have come a long way to the point where I wouldn't mind driving one but still for a "Fuckus" that's a lot. You're hovering used 2006 GTO prices for $25k or less. I know you're not looking for a sports car but that's just the guy in me talking.

For that kind of money you could get a 2012 Camaro Coupe 1LT V6 and thats not a base car. I know your not a fan chris but thats how I would spend 26k. For a sedan and spending 26k 2012 Malibu 2LT yes you cant get that in a stick but still but still something I would rather have over the ford or the cruze. Im just done with small cars. Also for a few dollars more a Base Buick Regal would be real nice once again no stick at that level but real nice ride.

ps I dont know why my type is all messed up. (jim!!!)

25 grand would have bought you my car. Lots of choices to think of at that price point.

Of course, but I want a sedan. Manual trans is also a need.

I've always liked the Focus models sold outside of the US, so getting the oppertunity to finally have one is hard for me to not inspect.

Not pleased after visiting the Ford dealership today...no Focus models with a manual on their lot. NONE. In fact, there's two on Long Island. One all the way out near Mineola, in Nassau County (45 miles away) and one out east in the Hamptons (+30 miles away) but that one is a special order.

The salesman told me that models with the five speed don't sell, and they lost money on them sitting on the lot. My heart sank. Why am I going to order a Focus when I can't test drive one? Fawking stupid lazy ass Americans, thanks for making my first possible new car purchase a pain.
