Why didn't you inform the candidates before submission? Seems short notice.

I did... go back to the original post :bacon:

Nobody reads what I type

I did. It was a 5 days notice from your first post, even though the calender submissions started much earlier. They might not frequent the site that often enough to read it, or what if they submitted a photo that has no hi-res version?

Before submission you asked for a high quality photo, not high resolution. I can have a high quality, low res photo

It was written in the entry submission thread...

I am exhausting all ways of getting in contact with these people emails, PMs, etc... IF they want to be in the calendar still they would contact. People are demanding for the calendar and it is getting late in the year. Due to holiday shipping times I would like people to be able to have it for the new year so they get their moneys worth and who ever is January doesn't get screwed.

Short deadlines are a part of life sadly

I'm not one to argue, but you didn't. You asked for a high quality in the submission. What if I submitted a photo that was high quality, but wasn't large enough for the calender and won and didn't have a larger version? All I'm saying is that I just picked up what I saw as a small flaw, I'm not telling you to reorganize the entire calender process, in fact you've done a great job, and your tie-breaker video was funny. I just think that if they knew they need a high-res AND high-quality photo that they might know that they have to submit one later. I'm just saying they could have submitted their photos and had no pressing incentive to check up on the fact they need a high-res photo after the fact.

awww... no scary Jim face in this one!

I'm not arguing there, that could have been worded better and left no assumptions. I'm just saying there was absolutely no lack of communication on my part in the deadline and 10/12 people were able to follow what I wanted perfectly fine. It falls on the user to act on my communication and if they don't act then they aren't going to be in the calendar simple as that :bacon:

Thank you for your compliments but please next time handle this via PM.

@Mark: That's kind of creepy you kept that

 I forgot it was in my photo bucket. I watched the video and it reminded me of last years and I went searching for the pic.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It will always haunt you! hahahahaha

Mucho gracious FP!! And congrats to the others. Oh and a special thanks to ringo for dealing with my AMAZING (sarcasm) computer skillz.

I don't know about anyone else, but I got all the updates and information through my email address and that is how I knew of all the dates.
