So, I don't like road salts on my car for two reasons.

1. It looks like crap

2. My car is old, and corrosion is a bitch.

I don't want to take it to a car wash because they recycle their water and I don't want to risk a salty solution being spray all over my car.

Does anyone know a good way to get it off your car at home?

I personally rely on the car washes. It's also now illegal in my city to wash cars (With soap) in your driveway, so the only other method I know of is just moderately high-pressure water to blow it off.

its technically illegal to do that in Indianapolis, because its illegal to deliberately drain washwater into the storm sewer, and any ground runoff is going there, but you can still do it anyway.

My solution? Don't drive your car.
