My 421 Super Duty still has mechanical breaker points.

Setting the Dwell to 30 with only an Allen wrench is difficult, and fraught with shocking danger.

Full Disclosure: I had a bid on the one OEM tool pictured, but I was out bid on E-Bay.

A day and a half on the internet searching for a suitable solution to this vexing problem has yielded zippo!

Could you use an Allen wrench socket connected to an extension and a rubber coated socket while wearing mechanics gloves? Say a 1/4” drive?

What about a 1/4" drive flex extension? I would think it would work and should cost more than $10- $15.

Thats what i was thinking too

I have always used an Allen wrench, with rounded ends to help hit the hole and never had a problem. It is 2025 and you could simply drop in a Petronix module and be done with all the points related issues. It's what I run in my 421.

JUSTA6: PERTRONIX is Planned, which version do you recommend and use on your 421 ??
