I attended the AACA Eastern Fall Show, otherwise known as Hershey,  for 3 days this past week.  It is a 4 day event culminating with a large car show on Friday.  Been going for more than 50 years. It is a “can’t miss” on my calendar.

The flea market and car corral takes 3 days to cover,  averaging about 11 miles each day. Here’s a few pictures.IMG_8706.thumb.jpeg.24a3e502a33286abe85cfd4da99c683b.jpeg

Thanks for sharing 31pontiac! Great photos!

I’ve been to Hershey once before and several times to Carlisle! I went with a buddy to Hershey back in 2005 or 2006. I remember someone saying that if you walked every row and aisle at Hershey, you would walk nearly 60 miles. I have no idea if that was true or not, but I still don’t doubt it either!

I remember buying the vendor program/catalog to find the specific vendors I wanted to see since I had no plans to walk the whole damn thing. I came to realize a few things about Hershey.

1. If you are looking for parts for anything made before WWII and you can’t find it at Hershey, it was probably never made in the first place.

2. Post-war thru the tri-five era are available but in limited quantities.

3. Anything over 1962-64 is typically not there but at one of the other nearby Carlisle shows instead.

4. Hershey is amazing to walk around period.

5. You need broken in walking shoes and a parts wagon or cart with you.

Rolled into Hershey to show the kids the chocolate factory and WTH??  Massive carshow!!!!  Didn't get to see much of the show as we were on a schedule to follow the East coast all the way up as far as you can go.  Crossed the line to Canukistan on our way to Toronto and finally home crossing back @ Port Huron.  Always wanted to go back. If not before, I'd need me one of them scooters today. Thankz for sharing.  You had me at the slot cars!!

JUSTA - if you are need a scooter or wheelchair to get around Hershey next year, I have a deal for you. Joe and I will stick you in a wheelchair (motorized preferably), we will push you around, but you and the chair get to double as our parts wagon. Deal?

Lemme get this straight.  You want to load me up with Hershey's and parade me around in the hot sun??? Wasn't that how the blue latex thing got started with NotAllThere??

Better than being paraded around with the Hershey's melting on you in the hot sun, I suppose.

That's what I mean.........

Dude, I’ve told you for years that dignity is over rated. Parading you around is JUSTA an added bonus to being our parts wagon! We wil take you to get some Hershey after we are done. Deal?
