The owners of the '67 Cutlass Supreme won an award at my local cruise in last night. I interviewed them. They bought this car as a wedding present to each other in 2011. They did a complete frame off restoration, took them 15 months. They took out the 330 and put in a 461 (455 .030 over), a 400TH, and Chevy 12-bolt rear with 3.55 gears. The paint is a 2-stage urethane - not a base/clear. The only thing farmed out was rebuilding the transmission. Everything else the two of them did together.

One of the most unique cars at the show. A '77 Sunbird Safari wagon. It is literally a rebadged Astre wagon. This was originally a 231 V6 car. The owners found this car in Georgia as you see it. It still has the stock 4-bolt 13" wheels and stock 10-bolt diff. They won an award today too! BTW this was the wife's car.

Two kids were driving this Firebird, they had to under 25. Indyman Joe had the line of the day. "Hey is that you car?" Kid - "No it's my dad's car!" Joe - "Man your dad must love you to let you drive it!" WOW!

The dad drove the Chieftain. The boys left before he did. He said this car has been sitting for the last 40 years. He got the car running last week!

I think Joe was afraid he'd get in trouble.

Not much left to say or do.  We walked around together and took the same photo's.  So I'll drop in what he left.  Awards were very cool gas pumps for the special awards, there were 35 plaques handed out to participant cars.  No classes.  Spent a beautiful day with my BESTIES,  Mel, Denise, Indy and JOE.  Group shots of our cars proved who was there!!!  Was so nice to drive the car for the 1st time this year.  The JUSTA"S were introduced to Black Beauty for the 1st time and not sure it was so formal with Indy's 72.:dancingpontiac:  Got home N couldn't bring myself to put er away.  Me Momma N OZZIE went out for a cruise and a DRIVE THROUGH DINNER.    He loves the Chief Tiger!!!  Also give him a boost so he can see better.

REALLY  YA couldn't leave me a couple shot to chip in???  After the Bling he brought me back from the power tour, he can do whatever he wants!!!  A Roadkill sticker.... OMG made my whole month.  Spent the time and submitted my shots only to find all of this.

JUSTA almost crapped his pants when I gave him the official Roadkill sticker I got in my goodie bag from Power Tour. You couldn’t buy them in the swag truck either. He said he’d have to hide the sticker from Joe because Joe would want to steal it!

i told Joe about it since I gave Joe a swag hat from Continental Tire from Power Tour. He asked JUSTA where it was because he was going to steal it!

I looked at JUSTA and said, well it looks like you called that one right!
