1931 Pontiac sport coupe

Featured Replies

Hello all.  Just retired and getting my car out of storage.  I purchased it in @1973 and did a body off restoration.  We took it on our honeymoon in 1978,  but then life got very busy.  It was last licensed in 1980,  but now I'm ready to give it a manicure, and enjoy it again.  Problem is the speedometer gear housing that mounts to the rear of the transmission has crumbled into pieces.  Thus part seems to be specific to 1931 Pontiac only.  Does anyone out there have one they can part with?

Thanks in advance.  Chuck pH .  I'm 75 miles north of seattle

I have a 31 that I took all the original drive line out of in favor of a 350 for reliable reasons . And so we can more easily road trip this car. But the shifter linkage cover cracked off one corner. I would ideally like to sell the entire motor transmission and rearend. And yes back in the day every year there were advancements in engines and drive lines so part do seem specific to year. Send me a message with a picture of the part you need and I'll see if it's intact. I'm in MN.
