Yeah we had TERRIBLE luck with our '99 Bonnie when the main ground harness burned up and the idiots wouldn't listen to my Grandpa (a genius, a saint I tell ya) when he said "trace any graphs that show wiring and find the grounds, check all the grounds. We put 4 different sets of LIM gaskets in it, 3 being under warranty. The ground problem was found finally after about $3000 worth of searching, and a service manager driving it as his personal vehicle for over a month after dealing with it for two years. The car would start, drive just fine for a month and then decide it was going to die and refuse to start, for about an hour, after an hour, it would start right up (aka when the tow truck got it back to our driveway, we could start it and drive it off the flatbed...) haha. My van I've had really good luck with... mom's grand prix has been okay, and same with des's grand prix. I'm going to buy a 93 subird convertible (white on white, ICE ICE BABY) and a 95 grand prix. I'm going to get my hands on the Pontiacs now while they're still cheap... I give it 5 years and you won't find one for less than $1000, no matter how crappy they are.
