A rare Pontiac Trans Am prototype called a Kammback, which never saw production, is going up for sale at Mecum's Kissimmee auction this coming January.

Frosty, did you happen to see how much this vehicle was auctioned off for?

Thanks for reminding me. According to Mecum's website, it sold for $40,700.00. Mecum estimated it to sell between $45,000-$60,000. A true bargain if you ask me, especially to own a true GM concept vehicle.

That really was a pretty good deal for the winning bid! Thanks for getting the info!

Glad I could help.

Id seen pictures of that years ago. Wasn't sure if it was something that GM did or if it was something somebody. Glad you put that up, bet it would be a blast to drive.
