That's great people really want to show their support for Sal's family as well for loss of Sal. His xA will sure be a good build and will be a great way to feel you can still be with him.

The xA only puts 89hp to crank, yikes! Upping horse power 296% FTW!!!!

Yup, I want to help with the build so bad.

The little 1.5L motor can handle boost. I've seen Yaris' and xB's with the same motor make a lot of HP with boost, so it's possible, but just never been done in an xA.

Also, we sold a lot of these decals in Sal's memory for the memorial last night:

At 10 bucks a pop, all the proceeds went to Sal's family, we sold out in five minutes. We had 30 of them made up. We're getting bigger die cuts in vinyl (I'm getting that) and more of the clear vinyl ones. (150 of them are going to be made)

i want one of these!

really, the motor in there cars are very similar to mine. mine is a 1.8L but the manifolds fit each other. also a lot of other parts. this will be one great build and i hope to see a progression thread somewhere online for it. :dancingpontiac:

I'll make a progression thread here once Reme gets a hold of the Scion.

The wake for Sal was last night, lots of family and friends showed to pay their respects. It was eerie seeing Sal in his casket. But I said goodbye one last time. It was hard on everyone there. And seeing his mom, his little sister...damnit. It was just heartbreaking.

But on a positive note, Reme painted Sal's casket in the colot scheme he wanted the xA to be redone in, Lambo green, with white, black and blue stripes. All the clubs he was associated with had their tags on the casket: LIStangs, Team631, New Image, and others.

His funeral was today, sadly I couldn't make it. Nobody at my job was able to cover my shift. :P but I did get my last goodbye, so I feel at ease.

Tomorrow we're doing a cruise for Sal, he always got together people for cruises out to Montauk, so we're gonna roll out big for Sal, one last time. I'll post pics from the cruise, we're making a lot of stops along the way. :lol2:

Sal did a little video a year ago for the xA. Kinda like the show "Cribs" ;) But I figured I'd share this with you guys. He was quite the character. B)
