Ok, the lights look brighter than they are due to a longer then necessary shutter speed on my camera.

They are really just about perfect glow/brightness. Coupled with my "night mode", it really sets a nice ambiance when cruising at night.

The 6-LED flexi-strips (2.7-inch) are wired to a 12v plug that gets power from the accessory port in the console. The 12v port is not constant, so they shut off when the car is off (no switches!)

The trunk has 2 units wired to the factory light, and stuck on the underside of the rear shelf. I will be adding an LED bulb to the factory unit soon to complete it, but for now it is unhooked.

You could always install a secondary fuse box like me, that way it's really EASY to wire stuff :P

LOL...IDK. But no, I am not doing it.

If I have it my way, I'm parking this truck and moving to Memphis soon.

I have everything in the garage to do a complete LED swap on the car (minus the headlights/fogs, of course).

Future plans include:

90w emergency strobes F&R

blue POV LED strobes/flashers in the grill/dash/rear deck/engine bay

Basically, I want a 'volunteer firefighter' light theme as my show lighting.

this, but with many more blue lights:

Very nice and can't wait to see that! I have strobes in my fender wells, engine bay, and trunk, will have them up front in the new fog lights as well

the LED swap starts as soon as I get home next, along with installing my exhaust + retune.

the show lights have to wait a while. I'm in no real rush to do extensive mods right now. i'm focused on paying off stuff and looking for a better/local job.

How much did it cost to do this Mike and where did you get the lights from?

the lights are from Oznium.com.

http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

I think I spent >$40 after I picked up a 12v plug. Cheap and effective!

oh, and they are 2.4'', not 2.7''.
