  1. although id have to say, id rather have that than a destroyed front bumper, hood, grilles, headlights, possibly front fender and a deer sized hole in my windshield with antler bullet holes in my drivers seat. Got off lucky really
  2. Going to go look at this Grand Prix tomarrow. I need another winter rat. Either this Grand Prix: http://syracuse.crai...3176699125.html or this Fiero that I might go look at later this week: http://rochester.cra...3187893135.html If neither of these work out then I'll just have to be more patient. Really want either a 1st gen Wbody, either a cutlass supreme or a grand prix or a fiero. Really want black for the wbody but willing to settle. Fiero I'd like 6cyl but if a good 4 shows up, then that'll work. The Fiero mentioned above is an automatic 4cyl, and claims the 3k is firm. But he also says the body is mint and that the entire brake system is new. Thoughts?
  3. Special Edition rims. Not a fan, but the rest looks great
  4. Oh yeah, this isn't a toy where I can just buy it, then sell it and get my money back. But the money I put into it annually will be worth it for the fun I get out of it. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I didn't have the buddy mentioned above to help me along the way
  5. Bought yet another toy, this one for summer fun 1996 Kawasaki 1100 ZXI Plans are to have a blast this summer, then sometime during the fall have the ski repainted in silver with black accents. I hate the color schemes of jet ski's. My buddy has a 97 Kawasaki 1100 ZXI that's been custom painted black and green, looks sharp. Botttom silver, trim black, all the red will be silver, the current silver will be black, the mirrors will be silver, the seat will be black, the handle bars will be black and the grips will be silver. Once I get a vette it'll match perfectly, and it'll kind of match the GTP too. Oh and also get rid of this trailer and get a bigger, nicer trailer. YES!!
  6. I rode my buddies 97 Kawasaki 1100 and now I'm addicted. I've searched all over craigslist not just in NY, but PA, NJ, MD and CT. If you or someone you know is selling their 1996 Seadoo XP, please respond to this. Not having a trailer is ok, I can get one anywhere.
  7. I would never mind going to work if I worked there. Wow
  8. I dont think so Ghost. One was a black GXP coupe. All stock from what I saw. The other was a white sedan with headlight covers. The owner was a volunteer firefighter since it was written all over the car. I dont think there were any FP members there since I would have seen something on here about the show
  9. So today was the annual Bill Rapp Super Store All Pontiac/GMC/Oakland Show held by the Six Nations Pontiac Club. Since the van's in the body shop, I figured I'd bring the GTP. I thought it was supposed to rain, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. The day before was supposed to be the all GM show but it rained and I didn't want to wash the car again for this show. I felt weird driving an 01 Grand Prix through the show full of classic GTo's and Firebirds to wear my class was, but people seemed to have liked it. Took half an hour to clean the exterior from the drive over and then went looking around. There 7 cars in my class. The G8 in the pic below was supposed to be in a seperate class, but the staff eliminated that class because of a low turn out of G8's and Solstices. So there was the G8, my GTP and another 6th gen, a 5th gen GP, a 7th gen GP and 2 G6's. I felt pretty confident, but didn't place. A lot of clean cars. Pics! ^My class ^Striker Blue G8 GXP, got 1st place ^Woohoo! ^89 Grand Prix in my class. Wasn't in that great condition, but I can appreciate him bringing it out ^Tuner class. 1 SC/T, the other not really anything nice ^Modern GTO class ^700hp GTO. Got 1st. LSX ^The engine bay of the GTO above ^Best looking modern GTO there, I thought the best until I talked to the black GTO's owner ^Fiero class. I think the center 85 GT got 1st ^This guy really loves Pontiac. "The Bandit" had the screaming chicken and the 79 style shaker hood. Was towing this... ^Had a sign on it that said "future pontiac power" ^1996 Pontiac WS6 Firehawk. 1 of 41 made that year. Guy bought it in FL for $3800 and Hagerty insures it as an exotic. Cool guy ^37 Pontiac Straight 8. Complete w/ Tommy gun riding shotgun ^Big Bonne. I love the oddities ^Executive. I wanted to get a big car like this just to cruise when I saw it ^Star Chief. Usually not into 50's, but this was a nice car ^Catalina, one of my favorites from the show ^Engine bay of the Catalina ^Grand Prix! I felt the connection ^76 Ventura. Like I said before, love the oddities. And this car was clean too ^Gorgeous GTO. Probably in my top 2 from the show ^GTO class. That lady just starred at me when I took the picture. Move.... ^Resto-mod GTO. Cool, but the original took it for me ^The other car in my top 2. Just so clean and amazing. What I'd do to have this GTO... ^Engine bay of above GTO ^Firebird class. This blue one is particularly cool... ^Because it was a straight 6. I'd rather have this Firebird than a v8 because I never see 6 Firebirds ^Both very clean ^Engine bay of the blue one above ^Trans Am class ^"It's just a Formula." Screamed outta the show. I wanted to take more pics but my phone ran outta memory. Cell phone pics so the quality isn't great. Fun day. Had some good talks with some cool people. Made me want to bring the GTP to more shows this year. Hope you enjoyed!
  10. And now my brother needed a car since he can't ride the GSXR in the winter, soooo for the past 2 days I've driven a toal of 10 hours back and forth to Buffalo to get this for him. (Damn responsibilites of his like school...) We'll test it to see how it compares to the GTP. I'm pretty positive that the GTP would destroy it in a straight line but around a track I've heard the Protege is one of the best handling FWD out there. Thanks Mariachi. And Young Gun, we definitely need to meet up one day at the track. My buddy went to the track without me and blew his clutch in his 86 Conquest TSi. I was supposed to race him, and I'm pretty sure I'd win. I got a new registration at the DMV, where I found out the GTP technically didn't even have plates. I also lost my license (found it a day or 2 later) AND the car wasn't inspected... fixed all that now though. I've been wanting to wash the GTP but it's rained every day for the past 4 or 5 days. I don't work again til Friday so the car's getting washed some time between now and then, and then maybe some pics with stuff...
  11. Why no love for Fiero's? I really think those things are going to be collectable. And they are so cheap right now. I want to buy a mint, black 86-88 GT and just keep it in a storage locker, preferably a 88. Then get another 86-88 and swap in a 3800 series II SC. Got my collector, got my toy
  12. I absolutley love Bonne GXPs. When I was looking for a replacement for my WRX I wanted a GXP, but couldn't find one so I went w/ my GTP. 8-9 years old and that design his head and shoulders above most junk nowadays
  13. Uh oh, my brother just got his first vehicle (Jimmy doesn't count since he's selling it just to make a profit) And just for fun: Yea we know the front tire is low, he's gotta replace the front rim
  14. So I was supposed to go to empire dragway in 4 hours, and now I can't find the registration for the GTP. I just took the GTP out of storage Saturday morning. When I stored it I think I took the registration out of it just in case someone broke in and stole the car. Even if I don't need the registration to race, I still need it to drive legally on the road. I have the sticker on the windshield, but it expires in 2013. I'm so mad right now, but at the same time exhausted. I've planning on going since Oct. Man...
  15. It's fine. I'm good with suggestions. Possibilities: 2nd Gen Intrepid (has to be black) 5th Gen Grand Am (has to be black) 9th or 10th Gen Bonneville (ssei would be cool in any color, if not, black or silver) 5th Gen Grand Prix coupe 1992-1995 cutlass supreme 5th gen maxima infiniti i30/i35 and a 1st gen intrepid for chaos
  16. Yea I just looked up a pic of the engine bay of a 1st gen compared to a 2nd gen. A lot more room, but the look of the car is what I'm judging. I like the look of the 2nd gen over the 1st, and I already have function over form in my GTP, now I want form over function. Yea I know, some stuff I do doesn't make sense Oh and I don't work on my cars, so the mechanic will just have to suffer with the tight squeeze
  17. I was thinking a 2nd gen actually Idk why but I like em. But no way would I ever get the 2.7. Probably wouldn't even settle for the 3.2, just go for 3.5. Oh and it's gotta be black and I'll throw black steelies on it. Got from now til November to find one. No rush, I'll just be keeping an eye out for one
  18. Sold the Jimmy to my little brother. I'll still drive it til Saturday when the GTP comes back out. Woohoo! I'll get another winter rat in the fall, I'm thinking Intrepid...
  19. Awesome car, best 4th gen GA I've seen. Nice shoot too
