  1. *Blue black metallic! At night its basically black Side note, since it's automotive related I figured I'd make a quick note. Me and a buddy of mine were asked to go retrieve a junk Impala down near the PA border. We were literally 1 block away from the PA border. We didn't know anything about this Impala, kid told us that he only wanted the front end, bumper, hood, grille and fenders. When we got there the car didn't run, wouldn't get out of park, passenger side rear was missing a lug and the driver's side rear tire was locked up. We tried jacking the car up but the jack went threw the rocker twice due to so much rust. The car was falling apart but we dragged it onto a tow dolly, broke the tire free by dragging it onto pavement and were off. About an hour later I had fallen asleep when I got a text. It woke me up and my buddy asked me if the car looked a little lopsided. I looked back and the driver's side looked low, so we pulled over figuring we had to adjust the straps. Nope, this is what we found: We figured we were probably dragging the car for between a mile and five miles, but we really don't know. Tried jacking it up and the jack went threw the rocker again. We threw the donut on and as we were tightening the lugs guess who pulls up behind us? A cop! Didn't see a single cop all the way down or for the first hour back. When the tire fell off it took all the lugs so we stole 3 lugs off the other tires. With no tire the control arm got scrubbed almost all the way off, caliper was gone, rotor was nice and shiny from spinning 60mph down a road for 5 miles, and every exhaust hanger had broken off allowing the tip to be grinded down to a very interesting looking point. Cop told us we couldn't drive with the exhaust like that, so we tied it up and asked were we could buy a tire. He told us we were about a quarter mile away from a shop so we stopped there and the guy told us there was no way of getting the car back to Syracuse without a trailer or a rollback. So we left it and went home. The end
  2. Went to Sylvan beach with Zac. On the way we met up with a friend of his with a Regal GS. Zac did a few changes to his GTP. He added rain guards that he got from the kid with the regal, changed his grilles, and swapped his special edition rims for black torque stars. We also meet up with a fellow member on here, Rob. The GXP and the Trans Am are both Rob's
  3. What's up Rob? It's Ryan. Me, Zac and Ryan went up to Sylvan and met you there. I had the dark blue grand prix with the black torques
  4. I'll definitely check out the Honda section next time, but +12's are almost never seen in a pick n pull, at least in my area. I'll keep you updated
  5. Chaos if you're serious, let me know what you need. I have two local yards I go to at least once a month. And Dalton, we'd love to have you in NY. Sucks I missed the Pacer, but I'm sure you, me and Zac will eventually meet up. Plus, I can go to Canada, not sure about Zac though
  6. There are a lot of pics, so I'll just do the cream of the crop. You will also see my latest change Me and Zac have driven past this 40th many times and always wondered about it. So we stopped and talked to the guy. Basically the car doesn't run, and the guy is willing to sell it extremely cheap. We gave him our numbers and we'll be the first he calls once he gets the ok from the bank to get rid of it. The bank won't come and get it because they think it isn't worth it If you've read through this thread you'll recognize this next one This next spot is my favorite Another re-do I've also gone on another shoot since then and I'll post that one later as well
  7. Finally got around to doing this. This is the set of torque stars I got out of pick n pull Sneak peak: Tires were extremely dirty, and once the rims were black it stood out even more. So I did a lot of cleaning on each tire. 2 of the centers had kept the red in it. The other 2 faded, so I did the center arrows in black like on special edition center caps And of course with my luck, as I was trying to take the chrome torques off, I stripped a lug. I hate it when people don't work on their cars. The previous owner never did anything to the car, he just had a garage do everything. And they torqued the rims down way too much. So I left it, and while I was at work my dad wondered over with a power drill Scratched my chrome rims all to hell around the lug. I was pissed. But at least it was off. Running 4 lugs on the driver's side rear for now. After this I went on a photoshoot with Zac and his 01 GTP Special Edition. Pics to follow
  8. 1987 Starcraft Nova popup camper. Looks terrible, staying in it was even worse. Unloaded it on the last day of the nationals 10 minutes after I sold the GTP. Bought 6/11/13, sold 7/21/13 Now for the Harley. Bought my uncle's 1987 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 in NJ. Brought it home, drained the gas, did an oil change and it's running pretty good. I still like the Yamaha way better, so my brother rides it more than I do. Down in Jersey. Dirty Back home, cleaned and took the bags off Day I took the GTP out of storage I wanted to get both of my Grand Prixs together. I had also done my front inlay for the blue car by this time. Black N' Blue Sent these to my friend Zac who's got a 01 GTP Special Edition, clone to my black car except white. Next day he came over after work and we took these. There was more but Zac has them
  9. I haven't updated this in awhile. I sold the jetski. As the guy was testing it on the trailer the engine blew. Thank god it's gone. I also bought a 1987 StarCraft Nova popup camper for the Syracuse Nationals so me and 2 of my buddies had a place to stay. It was so ugly. I also bought my uncle's 1987 Harley Davidson Sportster 883. Then I went to nationals and sold the GTP and then the camper 10 minutes later. So now I'm down to just the van, the gt, the V Star, the Harley and of course my trusty little Honda scooter
  10. Wish I coulda went with Zac to meet up with you guys. Just sold the GTP yday
  11. Best idea! Buy my GTP as a DD, then make your GTP insane. Done
  12. I personally love halos. Wanted for my first vehicle and haven't bought a set for any of my cars
  13. Tint! Before. And yes I know my headlights have moisture in them, bothers me After. 20% on all windows except the windshield. No brow Next, inlays on the front arrowhead, rear "pontiac" and door sills. I got a black front arrowhead, navy blue rear and navy blue door sills. I also have to plastidip my other torque stars black. Maybe a black inlay for my front plate filler. What do you guys think?
  14. Yea I saw killerspeed's GTP on here and knew I wanted a little darker than his. The pic of the tails when I first put them in in my garage they look almost nontinted but they are darker in person. I might go over them with vht nightshade later, but overall I'm very pleased. I'll purposelly hit the unlock button like 8 times while I'm walking to the car just to see the tails go off
  15. Wow, very nice. If I was wearing a hat I'd tip it to that GTP
  16. Updates! Sold the 75 Yamaha to my uncle. Since he was my uncle I let it go for the same price I bought it for. He's going to restore it to amazing condition and show it. Really looking forward to seeing it. He's already bought some parts for it. But before I let it go I had to do some quick pictures in the driveway on Monday with my other Yamaha. Also got current pics of the V Star 1975 Yamaha RD60. 55cc Next, tint time on the GT
  17. Thanks Young gun. I took the bike for a ride yday. First time riding it, even though I've been wanting to ride it, it rained for like 5 days straight. I got way to anxious when I started it and just jumped on in shorts. Rode it around the block twice, got back, shut it off, and went ahead and touched the exhaust with my leg
  18. More on the bike, I took the backrest and luggage rack off the back of the bike. Cleaned it up pretty good I think. Everyone I showed my bike to didn't like the backrest on there I also took those gaudy mirrors off and put the stock ones back on. The stock ones are huge and too noticeable. I didn't get a pic. When I took the black ones off I liked the look of the bike w/o mirrors but I need them on. I'll eventually get smaller black oval ones. The stocks are big square chrome mirrors, but I can see much better out of them
  19. I bought a front plate filler off ebay, but it was red. I was going to have it painted blue to match the car. But as I was putting my stuff in the trunk I saw something way in the front of the trunk. I reached in, and pulled out the original blue front plate filler. It looks like it was never on the car, in mint condition. That tells me this car was probably from a state that didn't require a front plate. I put it on when I was doing the weatherstripping around my tail lights. Before After, much cleaner looking. I understand if there's a place for the plate on some vehicles, but the cover looks just so much better than a plate, especially an ugly yellow and blue NY plate. Luckily I have a blue and white NY plate, but this cover is better
  20. More on the bike later, now more Pontiac Tail lights Old, cracked and moisture in them New, looked more smoked in pics on ebay but very pleased with them Little bit of gap, but a little weatherstripping will make it look fine. To anyone else these may look just fine but the gap bothered me. I'm sure you guys know when your car isn't perfect, it doesn't matter if others like it, you want it done right. So a few days after the install I put some weatherstripping in. Weatherstripping on the bottom Before for reference And weatherstripping over the top Tails done!
  21. I'm just learning about them. I have very little experience actually riding, but when I did ride it was so fun. Can't wait for all this rain to stop so I can get my first ride done on the 650
  22. Got a bike! 2008 V Star 650 Custom. Had to drive 2 hours to get it then 2 hours back. I was late to work but you have to prioritze Has Stripper Double D pipes. Sounds soooooo good These have got to go Luckily the previous owner still had the original pipes and mirrors
  23. Needed headlights, so I figured I might as well go aftermarket Before: After: I would have taken a pic with the lights on but I had to go to work
  24. 2000 Ford Expedition 5/16/09 8/29/10 2002 Subaru WRX 9/3/10 9/26/10 2001 Pontiac GTP 9/30/10 1969 Club Wagon 5/17/11 1992 Jimmy 7/6/11 5/14/12 1979 Express II 3/25/12 1975 RD60 4/22/12 1996 1100 ZXI 6/16/12 1993 LeSabre 8/16/12 11/4/12 2004 Hyundai 11/4/12 3/8/13 2002 Pontiac GT 3/1/13 2008 V Star 650 3/16/13 Alright, I guess you don't have to count the 79 Honda or jet ski. But the Honda is a class B scooter, and I can travel on the jet ski
