  1. Yum. So I take it Louie use to be a writer - now he's Louie No More?
  2. All the good stuff I would say.
  3. Totally agree. That sign deserves to stay in PA for sure. Happy to help anytime 31pontiac.
  4. What? Louie is gone? I guess that proves the old adage ”There is alway room for all of God’s creatures….right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy!”
  5. I have access to Haggerty Collector Car Price Value tool. Pictures would definitely help us evaluate the car's condition. My questions are what type of Star Cheif is it? Is it a: 1. Custom or Catalina 2. Custom Safari (station wagon - 2 or 4 door) 3. Deluxe Convertible Is there anything else you can tell us about the car in terms of options, engine type, or trim level?
  6. I went to my local Hobby Lobby craft/home goods store. Here are some of the "man;y" signs I can across there.
  7. Any chance you have an old family photo of it - perhaps in front of his business?
  8. Life time supply of tooth picks?
  9. I guess you now need a new tool shed to store it huh JUSTA?! Honey! I need a new tool shed, I don’t want my tool to get rusty!
  10. You feel like you’ve been hit several times by a lorry, right?
  11. A new vacuum cleaner? New dishes? A blender? A sewing machine? She will learn to give you a list after that! Assuming you survive to Boxing Day that is!
  12. Should we tell her about Framkenmuth and a year round Christmas store called Bronners? They have a micro brewery in town too. Tony’s is nearby too. The place with the mega size cooked bacon. Or about Roadkill Nights, the week before Woodward? Street legal drag racing on Woodward.
  13. Important websites for that planning......Justa saying https://www.woodwarddreamcruise.com/ https://backtothebricks.org/
  14. I wonder if Kiwi is going to tell us how jet lagged he is? Once he is coherent enough to form sentences that is.
  15. I look forward to it mate! Safe travels!
  16. Dang! No trip to Coney Island for a Nathan's hot dog! Hope you find a pizza parlor before you head home. Safe travel back home for you and the boss mate! It was nice you could stop off here for a pint or two. When are you and Fitzy going to darken our door for Woodward and all things automotive?
  17. Fitzy - no need to explain American vs Aussie car parksto me mate. I have relatives in Scotland and I’ve been to the UK enough to know all about small cars and small car parks from them. Kiwi - glad to see you doing so well on your seefood diet. You see it, you eat it! So where is the NY style pizza photos? The NY cuisine experience isn’t quite complete without pizza and a street corner vendor hot dog.
  18. Maybe Trump is in town for his fraud trial and this is his lawyer entourage.
  19. The only way to make that burger any more perfect is to put a fried egg and throw some of the onion rings on it. Fitzy - it's kinda hard to believe that the Suburban is the oldest automotive model in all of North America. The first one was in 1935 called the Chevy Suburban Carry-All. There was a GMC Suburban version too until the late 1990s and then GM switched the name to the Yukon XL. Same vehicle essentially. The only time the Suburban was out of production was for WWII war production. Also for three years - '55 to '57 - there was the GMC Suburban pickup truck. It was GMC's answer to the Chevy Cameo high end pickup truck.
  20. Some of those uber-big engines appear to be either WWI or perhaps WWII era aircraft engines mounted into an automobile chassis. Cool though.
  21. The last Checker Cab, a 1978 Checker Marathon 4-door sedan named :Janie" left NYC service on 7/26/199. So the Crown VIc was the heir apparent until Ford stopped producing the Lincoln Towne Car/Crown Vic platform. Say Tesla Taxi three time fast! LOL! BTW - I don't know if the show is still in production, but there use to be a show called "Cash Cab" on Discovery Channel that would drive around NYC. You get in it, and the driver might turn on some LEDS, tell you were in the Cash Cab and offer you money for answering trivia questions on the way to your destination. Get three wrong answers before your destination and you are booted out of the cab. The cab was a specially equipped mini-van.
