  1. Wow….beautiful. Love the yellow. Can I pick everyone’s brain. What should I be asking for this car? Senior widow with awesome car to sell but no real idea of what to ask.
  2. 1957 Pontiac Star Chief 2 dr Hardtop. 347 V8, 3 Speed Transmission. Matching numbers. 20562 original miles. Rust free, original body. Older repaint. Original chrome. Headliner perfect condition….ribs excellent. Newer tires. Never winter driven. Arizona car. Passed Manitoba safety inspection April 2023. Located at Pilot Mound, Mb. Call or message for more info or pictures. Asking $35,500 USD.
  3. Hello everyone. I’m not sure where to post this message on this site. We have a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief 2 Door Hardtop. Beautiful car. We purchased it last January. It came from the US. Sadly my husband's passed away in September from the dreaded cancer. I am thinking I will likely never drive this gem. It is another motor for me to maintain and of course always the concern of mice getting into it. So with much sadness I have decided I will list it for sale. My question for everyone is…..how much do I ask for the car? We live in Canada and in order to get it registered in Manitoba all vehicles must pass a vehicle safety inspection which it did. So it is definitely road worthy. Anyone have any thoughts about this or where I may look to get some direction? I have dozens of pictures if anyone would like to see them. I can’t seem to load a picture onto this post Thanks for any help anyone has to offer
  4. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Not sure what we will do. Keep on the look out for the piece. Price of loving these old girls.
  5. Hey everyone…..spring is almost here in Manitoba. FINALLY!! Please don’t send us any more Colorado lows! We’ve had enough!! Looking for the driver side front seat molding/trim for our’57 Star Chief 2 door. Anyone know where we might find one? Thanks again.
  6. Thanks guys. I didn’t think the brakes should be so stiff. Takes the fun out of driving this gem if you are constantly worried about the brakes, especially for my wife. Guess I’ll try and find a mechanic who can check this out.
  7. Hi everyone….we finally got our new purchase on the road. ‘57 Pontiac Star Chief. So, are the brakes supposed to be so stiff? The brake master cylinder/booster have been cleaned and new parts put on. But the brake pedal is so hard to push in. My wife needs both feet to apply the brakes. Should they be this hard to apply? Is there something that needs adjusting? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Ok all you Pontiac guys out there. The steering wheel on our ‘57 Star Chief is really cracked and a piece actually missing on one spoke. My question is….will a steering wheel for a ‘55-‘56 fit on the ‘57? Thanks in advance for ant feedback and advice.
  9. Ok. Our body man thought they may fit. Guess we won’t know till we try them but hate to buy a set and find out they don’t fit.
  10. Yes, I saw them there too. They are fibreglass but I was hoping for steel. Do you know if 57 chev skirts would fit the Pontiac? Or can’t other year?
  11. We have recently purchased a 1957 Pontiac Star Chief. We would like to find a pair of fender skirts for the car. Anyone have a set for sale or know where we may find a pair?? Thanks.
  12. We just joined Forever Pontiac. We have a 1957 Pontiac Star Chief 2 door hardtop we just purchased. Excited for spring to arrive here in Manitoba so we can get this gem on the road. We are looking for a set of fender skirts. Anyone have a set for sale or know where we could get a pair? Looking forward to chatting with fellow vintage car enthusiasts.
