Umm yeah this is why I changed my vote last month lol. We are a close knit group of friends that don't all have pontiacs anymore or we also have other cars. Both the camaro and focus are owned by members that also have a pontiac in their garage. Plus you should be happy there both american cars imported from Detroit lol. My last two cars I bought were german and my next one is going to be jap. Think before you speak badly about other people on this site or you might not like the responses. The focuses are really nice cars, the camaro's are nice also I personaly would never own one but thats just me.

You need the tangerine scream seats though, those in the ST are awesome. I say go for it if you really want to do it. The turning radius on the ST and a couple other things turned me off of getting a ST or else I would be right there with you in a blue ST2. So sorry I couldn't focus more on the focus or else we woud be model brothers lol. You still have a amazing car so far though.

It doesn't have t-tops, it is a one piece targa top like on the corvette.

Yeah it's going to be my dd. figured it would be a good balance of really fun sports car but a practical hatch. The stock options are kinda random in the hatch but there what I wanted compared to the two trims of the sedan. I wanted the suede heated seats, HIDS, fogs, bbs rims but not the full leather seats, sunroof, huge wing.

What's wrong with the hatch, I like it better than the sedan. It also have some options that you can do with the sedan. You should see the aruguments over the two on the wrx/STi forums lol.

Thought it was kinda funny that 2 weeks after I order my car a STi with 6k miles comes here but I didn't want black and it didn't have Nav. Also went to a dealership vw/BMW/ford on Monday since my mom and her friend wanted to see what they had. Drove a 11 STi on friday around to see what my car would be like. That thing was pretty awesome, nice little exhaust note stock. Clutch was not super heavy, nice seats that offer support, not like the evo recaro's that are so built up you have to climb over to get into. I took it out and got up to 80 before I knew it lol, it does have a insanely short first ger but yeah I think it was compounded on for the fact that I have mostly only driven the 5spd wrx's. I thought it would be alot rougher and unforgiving lol. It is actually decently quick and but pretty smooth going. You can just chug along in 3rd gear with out it shuttering and stalling also which is nice in traffic. It is a pretty nice car overall, I was really impressed. I had kinda high hopes wondering what I had gotten myself into but I was grinning and thinking wow I can't believe I will soon get to enjoy this everyday. Have always disliked the new gen EVO X's when ever I have driven them. There fast but don't really care for them at all they lost there special character that the evo 9 had. I almost bought a 08 GSR but I wasn't in love with the car and it went for way to much anyways. It was nothing like the mint 06 EVO MR I tried to buy but yeah it again went for over a thousand more than what I wanted to pay for it. So instead of looking like I had been forever, figured I might as well just buy new.

I didn't want to clutter up his G8 Thread with my Offtopic banter but chris if you find some nice wheels like those werks or volks lets me know. I am trying to curtail my spending on a car I don't even have it yet though. I already have mud flaps, side emblems, LED kit for the interior lights(I won that though on iWSTi), Winter tires. That and I am going to be buying a shorter shifter, flossy shifter knob, kartboy shifter bushings soon than latter I know after driving a STi on friday for a little bit.

The blue version of those wheels would look good on a WRBP STi. Would only than need 2 grand, not as expensive as the Volk TE37sl's at least.

Its the side fender badge they used on the r205 STi in japan. I like the black and red alot better than the stock one. I am not mad at you guessing, just waiting to enjoy a car that I have wanted for awhile now.

Yeah before the natural gas rush in 08 are census data was literally I believe 98% white lol. I was never a big partier and always was kinda shunned because my parents have a little bit of money were just middle class nothing special at all but this area has always been decently poor so yeah. So quite, shy guy that isn't really a redneck, and people kinda hold my family against me. I don't know I have always been the type of person to keep to myself and only say what needs to be said type of person, I guess thats why I never have been a post whore on any of the forums. I sit back and absorb all of the information that is presented to me. I have come out of my shell and pretty much a completely different person than I was in high school but I am still a pretty reserved person.

And one has already won Pontiac of the month lol. Unfortunately are cars are the most common ones since they made more gxp's than n/a's and black was the most common color, also the automatic was used alot more than the manual.

I would say I am better friends with a lot of people on here than people I have actually known for awhile in real life. Than again I grew up in the backwood country and I am not exactly a redneck at all but you inherently pick up traits from where you grow up at. I am also not a city slicker at all, and have always lived in the country so I don't know really where I fit in on the bigger picture of it all lol.
