Subaru's have had horrible pait for awhile and the 08+ WRX's and STi's have plenty of problems with rocks chips but I have no idea about this one.

Thats beyond touch paint, there is no dent there its just like it blistered and popped almost. The clear and paint is gone, and the paint around it is brittle. I have no clue how it happened.

So subaru paint just completely sucks kinda hard to believe this had happened after a week of driving it. Happened either thursday night or friday morning since I noticed it when I got out to my car on friday. If you buy the STi headlights for me I will, you would have to buy me wrx limted headlights at the very least.

For right now I am just going to leave it how it is so I can still have a warranty for awhile. After awhile I will put a exhaust and downpipe and what not on it but it will be awhile, since I Don't really feel like paying for a built motor and what not right now.

The best way to describe driving the car is addicting. It had to live up to alot of hype after waiting 18 wks for it. The thing just grips the ground amazingly, has plenty of power even with just going to 4k, love the nav with the ipod integration and everything. I was worried it was going to fall flat on its face and I was going to completely regret the car. The stock exhaust actually has a nice growl for it being stock, the boxster has a very unique tone to it. Overall even the initial grave period of getting it I am still in love.

Off topic of milage but yeah I drove a 05 STi on thursday that just pulled beyond belief. It had a FP red turbo, full exhaust, bc racing springs, moda wheels, aem cai, manual boost controller, aftermarket tmic, probly other stuff I couldnt see. The turbo never spooled up until around 4k but it just really pushed you back in your seat when it did and just kept pulling.

Thats why I went big with what I knew I wanted. I had orginally planned on buying just a 13 WRX Hatch base with no opts, than I thought about how I might regret it down the road. I figured hell you only live once I might as well just order a STi with Nav. It has all sorts if random goodies compared to the base car. The only sad truth about that is if I would have done a base one I would probly already have my car I am sure instead of waiting 16 wks lol. Kinda funny that my fiero has less miles than my g6 now. 88k on the fiero, 93,9xx on the g6, 3k on solstice. Indymanjoe, the first year for the solstice was in 06.

The Fiero and Pickup got delivered at the auction I work at today. Drove the Fiero home tonight and the thing is actually really nice for being older than I am. It is weird feeling the engine where it is that is for sure. The tires on it don't have much trend and are just complete rubbish they make the thing wander all over the place but that can be easily changed. I went in expecting nothing and actually like the car for the most part. I mean the thing is pretty slow with like 91hp but it didn't seem awful just not fast by any means of the imagination at all. The seating in it is kinda awkward to be comfortable but oh well. The no power steering is kinda a moot point now also, its steers really easily in parking lots.

Well it has only taken a little over 15 wks for them to finally build my car and match it to my order but it has been done. Now I just have to wait for it to get here in the Us and deliever it to the dealership. The wait continues lol.

I like the clean look of having no badges thats for sure but yeah its funny as hell having people try and guess what you drive most of the time. Everyone thought my C class was a E class for some reason when I took the badges off. When I had the mpd hood on everyone either thought it was a GTO or had absoustly no idea. Haven't gotten any random comments about my g6 in a long time though besides wow you keep that thing nice from a person at the car wash.

I ran around alot durring the summer and workout a decent bit. I have been at the guard shack more often the past couple of months and have been eating more to try and gain weight. My lowest point durring the summer was about 135-136, I am of yesterday 147.

Have you done anything to it? I have. Solo Mach exhaust and Trifecta dual tune on mine. I also have a performance autowerks street intercooler and big wheel turbo that I for some reason haven't put on yet even though the warranty is pretty much up.

It kinda seems that way but your guess is as good as mine. On another note I got to drive one of the new Caddy XTS that was pretty loaded up, the thing got repoed in 350 miles lol.

There is no denying that auto's can be faster, more efficient, and consistent. Your missing the point of whats its like to drive a manual though, it takes a little bit of skill to master a car and can be a really rewarding experience. You feel more connected and like your actually doing something, its just a simple pleasure that I really enjoy. Driving a car isn't always about being the fastest its about really enjoying it and having fun. The Porsche PDK transmission is the closest thing to having a true manual that transmission is pretty brillant, I have only really driven one for a extended period of time and that was in a Cayman S.

My dad has a active on-star account on his escalade and I had it for the first year on my solstice but yeah not much sense for me to have it since I never really drive my sol, My G6 doesn't have it.

My g6 I don't regret it at all my solstice I really regret though their 5 spds are really notching and sometimes not that smooth. Manuals might be becoming slower but nothing really beats slamming through gears or getting the perfect heel-toe and what not its just alot more self gratifying when you do something yourself.

No I ordered exactly when orders opened up and the guy that I emailed is the one that placed the order and he said he did it the next day. Subaru apparently does not build to order any cars and they just never felt like making my car or something idk. But yeah after 3 years of trying to get a good deal on a used one I go ahead and order a brand new since I have the money for it and still can't get exactly what I want lol. So yeah sorry for the rant but yeah its just a little frustrating that I am willing to spend 36k on a car and wait 13 wks and its still no wheres close to being a reality lol.

Yeah but subaru does things differently I suppose so 13 wks out and it wasn't built and so It might be another 13 wks before I get the car, so I canceled the order with them. Hopefully I can get the hatch that the other dealership ordered if not than I don't really want a STi sedan, there are absoutly no hatches around at all there all the sedans. I will buy the 12 APEX Silver Evo GSR thats at the dealership not way to far from here.
