whats the night and day between LS1 and 2? 50 hp? lol. GTO fairing in the snow is like shit. i have gotten stuck on a plowed road (mind you this was with high performance all weather tires but still) 350 hp on the snow is just a bad combo. BUT As a daily driver the car is fantastic. I have an 04 and thus far (fingers crossed) have had zero issues. Change the oil when you are supposed to and do routine maint and the car will treat you great. The LS1 and 2 were both victims of the whole FRC problem so just remove the dumb plastic engine covers when you get it and inspect the fuel line for any rubbing that may have occurred prior to your ownership. All in all my GTO is my love and I don't regret buying it one single bit. If you have any specific questions dont hesistate to PM me.

ya know its weird i kept thinking that but id go tweak it and up close im like....its perfectly straight from the 5. and its good. I'd then backup and it looks off or something. its something that can be easily adjusted....

yeah and worse yet, the GTO lettering was just a light gray on a silver backdrop (aka almost invisible) as for the splitter that is LoJacs and it is super rare thus super expensive (not to mention i would have to ship something that can easily break from AZ to IL for a billion dollars) so its not likely. I like these smaller ABS [plastic ones and ill prolly pick one of those up this spring along with hopefully SAPs.

fixed up my fake sap mod by following the curvature of the lower grille all the way down. I think it looks 50 times better already!! i ALSO used VHT on my sidemarkers which changes it completely. it sounds stupid yes because they are just small little sidemarkers but now that they aren't this random orange spot and it just pulls it all together. Lastly I also painted the GTO and 5.7 badges from off the back of the car. i haven't put them onto the car yet as I will be re-assembling in the morning. you will be pleased joe!! On to pictures!!

Ok i went outside and decided it was time to get my fake SAP on. I am pleased although there are a couple of jaggies on the round parts of the lower grille. Not too bad of a job for a first time go on to some pics

I hate this trend. seeing them on low end cars makes me think.....really? your car is not cool enough to have that..... and on high end cars im like...why would you put something so lame on such a nice car. Conclusion:transformers gayness belongs on no cars.
