  9. See you wait till the cow is asleep and then you run out there and push it over. Another tip, don't eat yellow snow. But seriously, I hate tipping. Gotta tip your uber driver, the bellman, the restaurant waiter, etc... it's crazy and all different amounts
  10. Step 1: Leave New York, go to Boston instead jk. That should be a fun trip! Been a hot minute since I’ve been to New York.
  11. In the vast tapestry of automotive history, one name stands out as an emblem of American innovation, power, and style - Pontiac. Beyond its mechanical prowess, Pontiac has woven itself into the cultural fabric of the nation, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of enthusiasts. This article delves into the cultural significance of Pontiac, exploring its impact on society and its enduring legacy. The Birth of an Icon: Pontiac emerged as a brand in 1926 under the General Motors umbrella, quickly establishing itself as a symbol of performance and sophistication. Named after the Odawa chief who famously led a rebellion against the British, Pontiac embodied the spirit of resilience and defiance. Pontiac in Pop Culture: 1. Muscle Cars and Hollywood: Pontiac's powerful and stylish vehicles have graced the silver screen, becoming synonymous with the quintessential American muscle car. From the iconic Pontiac GTO in "The Monkees" to the sleek Trans Am featured in "Smokey and the Bandit," these cars became characters in their own right, captivating audiences and fueling a love affair with the brand. 2. Music and the GTO: The Pontiac GTO, often referred to as the "Goat," found its way into the lyrics of numerous songs, immortalizing its status in popular culture. Artists like Ronnie and the Daytonas celebrated the GTO's speed and allure, cementing its place in the hearts of music enthusiasts. Community and Identity: 1. Pontiac Car Clubs: Across the nation, Pontiac car clubs have formed tight-knit communities, bringing together enthusiasts who share a passion for these iconic vehicles. These clubs serve not only as a space for admiring engineering marvels but also as a hub for fostering friendships and preserving the brand's legacy. 2. Annual Pontiac Events: Pontiac-centric events, such as the Pontiac Oakland Club International (POCI) Convention, attract devotees from all corners of the globe. These gatherings celebrate the brand's history, featuring classic cars, restoration workshops, and a shared camaraderie among fans. Legacy and Nostalgia: 1. Enduring Designs: Pontiac's commitment to groundbreaking design has left a lasting impact on the automotive industry. The sleek lines of the Firebird and the unmistakable hood scoops of the GTO continue to influence modern car design, ensuring Pontiac's aesthetic legacy lives on. 2. Collectors' Market: The allure of Pontiac's vintage models has spurred a thriving collectors' market. Enthusiasts and investors alike seek out well-preserved classics, contributing to the preservation of these automotive treasures for future generations. Pontiac's cultural significance extends far beyond its contributions to the automotive industry. Through its presence in pop culture, the formation of tight-knit communities, and the enduring legacy of its designs, Pontiac has become a symbol of American ingenuity and passion. As we continue to celebrate the brand's timeless allure, we pay homage to the spirit of Pontiac, a cultural icon that continues to revitalize our collective appreciation for automotive excellence. I would be eager to hear about additional instances in which Pontiac has actively participated in shaping culture or engaging with communities throughout its history. What do you got?
  12. Love seeing the turbo intakes coming through the cabin. Good thing it's not the exhaust! Thing is amazing though! Love to drive that!
  13. Well, it’s cool enough to be entered!

  15. Was curious what AI would think a modernized Pontiac Firebird would look like. You know what, I was not disappointed. I actually quite like these. By no means fully resemble a classic Firebird but still look good
  16. Driving an LS derived motor in my Camaro, I totally get this . There are purists in the world that will throw hate but not here. Think for the most part, everyone here just wants to lend a hand and discuss Pontiac. The site was originally created in mind to spew as little drama about things like this as possible.
  17. Look forward to reading more about it and your journey to rebuild it! Tons of great people around here to help you along the way and have fun 🍻
  18. Quick little techno-help Can think of “Quote” as you’re replying to someone’s post or specific statement. Whereas, if you’re adding something new to the conversation, just reply to the topic. In this case, since it’s a new entry, you’d just reply rather than quote another entry. The editor is very nimble, it is literally What you see is what you get so it will allow you to place text under an image very much like an email or Microsoft Word. If you realized after submitting, you need to change something, you have 30 min to edit it by clicking the 3 dots on your post > Edit.
  19. You got it! Yeah, we do some posting over on social media and generally showcase someone’s ride from here
  20. Looks like the video was removed or at least the attachment was but deleted the post for you 👍

  22. Kind of a double-edged sword there for those employees that want to buy GM.
