As it's always been ... it's all about control. I was driving the kids to school a couple of months back in my mother's Civic. I got pulled over ... not because of a traffic violation .. but because the auto plate reader displayed that the car belonged to a woman ... and I'm not one. That was the entire reason for pulling me. Not because the car was reported stolen. Not because there was a watch out for taupe Civics ... because the plate reader said the car was owned by a woman, and I wasn't.
