Red Sox.

*hissssssss*

I have no love for the Red Sox after beating the Tigers, but I cheer for the American league over the National league - unless thr National League team happens to be the Cubs (that has not happened since 1945 so I am not too worried about breaking tradition yet).

>mfw the Red Sox eventually lose

I'm a Yankees and a Sox fan....

I think the Marine Corps can help you with that. A few weeks on Paris Island and you won't worry about indecision ever again.

I'm a Yankees and a Sox fan, and when the Yankees face the Red Sox I don't watch, because I don't know who I want to win haha

May as well divide by zero.

So, gonna wait another ten years for another World Series try?

heh...

Wat?

We won 3 over the last 10 years. Granted before that our last WS win was in 1918, nearly 100 years ago.

We only missed the playoffs in the last 10 year span once, I believe and that was last year which we came in last in the division. The issue now is are the red sox going to pony up the cash to keep this team together and if they do will it work again next year?

I have already heard a lot of talk of free agency. Ellesbury and Napoli being the biggest two. Saltalamacchia and Drew are next in the pecking order. All are free agents in the off season. I think it will be tough to keep all four of them. I think Texas or Seattle has a good shot at Ellesbury.

Ellesbury would be a HUGE hit if we lost him, he is our speed

Drew too for his defense.

The rest would be hits too in their own right. Napoli too as a quasi team captain this year on top of how he played.

Not many 1st basemens up for free agency this year, so Napoli will go quickly if a team needs his offensive and defensive combination. Again, I think it is unlikely that Boston will keep all 4 guys.
