G6 2.4L Intake Problem Rises Again!!!

Recommended Posts

The 2.4 doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator, it's a returnless fuel system.

All we did with the 1/2ass intake was hack a little bit off the end of a civic short ram, after that it fits perfectly. All it does is help flow a little bit better, look pretty, and make a tad more noise. Let me know if you need a parts list.

No no problems whatsoever!

All of these are Spectre brand part numbers spectreperformance.com

Coupler - - 8771 black

We also removed the bottom intake resonator in the bumper. Also we chose not to use the couplers supplied with the intake, because they're very weak and split easily. Spectre couplers are cheap, but good quality.

Wait, whats wrong with just slapping a cone on?

They make different size ends.

From what I've gathered, the parameters on the 2.4's are set so tight for fuel economy, while running an a/f ratio that's pretty high to begin with. When you introduce more air, it takes it about as well as women do anal, then throws it in "limp mode". If that helps.
