I just saw the commercial for the GM Onstar sweepstakes last night.

From what I've read online, the winner (or winners?) get a free GM vehicle of their choice except for the Volt.

I'm going to pick a CTS-V sedan if I win.

I've got my two mail in entries ready and I'll get my third and final entry in my car by pushing the blue Onstar button today.

Anyone else already entered through their car?

Onstar was an option in 06 and I dont have it.

But yer not missing much by not having Onstar in your car. I only used it once in my 2001 Grand Prix GTP. I had the person open my doors, just to see if it worked.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if one of the winners doesn't realize you could go as big as you want and gets like a Malibu or Cobalt (non-SS)

I have some questions, can I enter if I am Canadian?

Do I have to have a newer GM to qualify? (My personal newest GM is my 87 Cavalier convertible)

And would it be in bad taste if I won if I parted out the new vehicle for my hot rods?

LOL, I would have a hard time choosing, I'm not big into new GM, the new Cadillac CTS-V is bad-ass, I like the Caddi XTR too, a Vette would be fun, a Diesel Dually crew cab would be handy...

My guess is try the mail in one once the site is back up and worst they can say is no and your out postage. Not bad for a chance at winning a GM vehicle of your choice lol.

Apparently you can enter the sweeps.

But Canadian law requires the winner to answer a timed mathematical skill question.

The OnStar button in my old 2001 GTP didn't work to enter. So I wrote up a third 3x5 card to mail tomorrow.

Insurance is not a big deal where I am, but I was thinking about it more and I think I would get one of those dressed up Top Kick pick-ups, all blacked out... that would be cool and very handy for me!
